This reads as... Suns "We have a deal lined up with Pacers, so hey Nets if you want to do this KD deal you better hurryyyyyy"

I didn't keep up with him last year, but I remember liking Sharife Cooper in the draft. Definitely wouldn't mind seeing him on the Swarm roster... can't be worse than Crutcher

Do you guys think OKC is considering trading a boatload of picks for Mitchell or Durant? Maybe one of their prospects go for Durant, but they still have a lot more young players that would greatly benefit from playing with KD as he goes back to his OG team.

Old Durant isnt worth it for such a young team and Durant wouldn't want to be there.
Mitchell maybe, but where would he fit with SGA and Giddey.

I think I'd prefer SGA

i guess zeller is out of the league. havent seen his name all summer. injuries just derailed him. still would be valuable to a contender needing some vet depth/screen setter/leadership.

He's only 29, but he isn't a great rebounder, can't shoot, can't defend...its pretty much over for him. Sad

What a bad draft that was though, we weren't missing much because Rich Cho definitely didn't even have Giannis or Gobert on his radar

Cho's draft picks 2011-17, mostly spending their formative years under Clifford:

Biz: signed with PHX on a min deal
Kemba: not on a team
MKG: not on a team
Taylor: not on a team
Zeller: not on a team
Vonleh: not on a team
Hairston: not on a team
Kaminsky: signed with ATL on a min deal
Monk: 2 years at $9.5M/year with SAC
Bacon: not on a team

I am speechless. Monk is the only one left whose career isn't hanging by a thread

a couple of Boston beat writers suggesting Zeller might be a good option for them, but nothing official.

Sengun just turned 20 like a month ago and he has clearly been the best player on Turkey's national team in Eurobasket. They are 3-1 in the group stage so far and hes averaging 19/8/3 on 60% from the field.

I was wrong on Sengun. Rather have him than PJ. I thought we couldn't take him because he couldn't play with PJ.

Somehow the Rockets are going to screw all this young talent up though, I feel it

Sengun could play next to Pj, he can hold his own at centre. First time I saw him I wanted him :sigh:

Yes I loved his potential and wanted us to draft him. His rookie season was not spectacular by any means, but he showed flashes and dedication for such a young player.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Same issues with Sengun as when he was drafted. Small, unathletic, not a rim a protector.

Enes Kanter had some great stat years too before it came time to play winning basketball and people stopped caring what his stat line was.

Except Segun is a gifted connector with quick hands on defense. Kanter was an offensive black hole. Sengun is much closer to Sabonis.

Now some of the same concerns are said about Sabonis, but let's get the comps right.

Regardless of his flaws, I am very certain Sengun is better than Bouk and Kai.

Seem pretty certain about a guy who had a good game against Belgium and their zero NBA players.

As far as what he has done in NBA, I am still pretty meh on him. He was fed minutes on a team that was trying to lose and won 20 games. I am pretty confident Bouknight would of put up solid numbers on a chucking Houston team that was all about playing the young guys.

Guess we will have to see, but longterm I think Sengun has glaring weaknesses.
