say hes bought out and is willing to take vet min, but he has to be the starting pg for the team. Would anyone pick him up in that scenario?

He does have problems as a person and player, but i do think that if a team can build his confidence up, he can still do a lot of damage.

If he gets traded and waived or bought out, what follows is going to be a really humbling experience for him.

Goes back to the Wizards, shouldn’t have never left (or asked to be traded).

He’ll just keep doing him like always. Ego will never be dropped.

I could maybe see San Antonio doing it. Pretty sure they need a PG and they aren't trying to win this year.

Melo and amare should thrive in this offense. If Jeremy Tyler and cole Aldridge looked that good in summer league then us knick fans have a lot to be excited about. Make room for all the bandwagoners when we take off

Russell Westbrook is done if he ever gets brought out. Nobody is signing that guy. A poor 3pt shooter,a turnover machine and a poor defender, refuse to listen to coaches, refuse to adjust his game or take a lesser for the betterment of the team. Westbrook has no use in todays NBA.

No use in his current role, but he could be a productive backup if he is willing.

He reminds me of Melo after the Rockets cut him. Everybody said he was done. He went up to Portland and fit into his new role and kept his career going.

He can come to the Warriors and fill the Shaun Livingston roll if he's willing to adjust his game.

If he bought in and accepted being third or fourth option, he wouldn't look too bad on the Pelicans.

I think he has iverson syndrome. Should probably come off the bench at this point but wont. If he did maybe more teams would be open to adding him.

He’s a laughingstock, too arrogant to change for the good of the team.

Who wants that?

He doesn't start for any team. If you are a winning team you wouldn't want Westbrook starting, and if you're tanking why not just give those minutes to a young player? I actually think the only role left for Westbrook is a 20 min bench role on a winning team. If Russ doesn't want to do that then he'll just have to retire like Iverson.

In another thread I suggested trading Russ and Nunn to the Mavs straight up for Bertans + Hardaway Jr + Powell. The Lakers get a bunch of shooters (albeit severely overpaid shooters) and the Mavs get to dump bad salary and get a bench point guard to eat regular season minutes for Luka.

All those replies with "if he's willing to adjust etc", that's the point, he's not.
To him if he's not playing well it's because of the coach, the system or something else.
He's not willing to accept any responsibility and face the fact that he's not that good anymore.

I worry about Pops health if that happens.
