This is like comparing '16 Curry to '13 LeBron or something like that. It doesn't matter how legendary one's regular season was if he had a meltdown in the playoffs / FInals. At least, it's certainly not better than someone who exploded in the playoffs / Finals.

What makes Jordan's RS better?

Kareem faced significantly better team than Jordan did and he had little help due to Oscar injury.

I think ignoring league strength there's a very good argument Kareem had a better regular season.

I think you could definitely argue that Kareem was the better player in his series loss. Somewhat easily. MJ exploded for 46 points in game 3 to give Chicago a 2-1 lead then played poorly in game 4-6. I mean you should know this. Kareem was great and slightly injured.

Actually a great point, forgot that outside Game 3 MJ was pretty bad this series (by his lofty standards) and you could make an argument Kareem was better against the Lakers.

Its also apparent when watching that Rodman started to give him some issues. Rodman could almost swallow him up at times and get him to turn it over or give the ball up. It wasn't always because he was being double or triple teamed.
