Not going to entertain anymore of your trolling, but kept the Mavs from a first round exit while luka was out.

This is such a weird, random thread. Of course the Knicks are better than the Pistons right now. Pistons have some good young talent but they're still going to finish near the bottom of the league.

Slow down

I mean the ceilings of their two best players are Luka and Ja. They have some good role players too. Maybe it will take a year or so, but they will be in the hunt for a top seed in the East soon enough barring injury.

The knicks won 37 games last year with a broken down kemba and Burks manning point guard duties They are returning the same with a big upgrade at that position.... lets please stop with the disrespect and pick another team to trash on

The Knicks are going to be roughly a .500 team, maybe better if they get Mitchell. I'd be happy with a 30-35 win season by the Pistons. Future is extremely bright but the team is extremely young right now, too young to make noise right now.

Piston's future is better but next year..... Knicks will be better. Contender? naw but they will be better. Knicks still have options and moves with their picks so who knows what they eventually can do.

Its too bad that the Knicks overachieved when they did in '21 because I think 1 or 2 more lottery picks and they would be off to the races this upcoming season. But I also understand that in that city they have to do something to get fans energized with that owner and how long they've been mediocre/awful so it was a brief morale boost and brought optimism into last season.

New York has many playoff tested guys, as long as morale is good they should be better.

Beef Stew is so overrated. Dude is an undersized center. That wants to shoot 3s yet not a great shooter. Duran is an unknown. Cade and Bey should improve. Ivey is a rookie.

When the Mavs had Brunson he was a rising young player. Now that he’s on the Knicks , he’s an overrated player and not that good according to the GB.

Nope. The Knicks have the better team right now, however their ceiling is quite low. Even if they get Mitchell, they are still a 1st round exit. Randle is good, but overpaid. Evan is a good shooter, but that's it. Derrick Rose is getting old. Mitchell Robinson is very good. Rj Barrett has star potential, but he won't ever become 1st option on a Championship contender. Jalen Brunson is good, but not a all star. The Pistons within the next 3-4 years could one of the better teams in the NBA between a potential superstar in Cade Cummingham,a possible future star in Jaden ivery and Jalen Duren, who could be really good fo the Pistons. Cade Cummingham/Jalen Ivery/Jalen Duren>>>>Rj Barrett/Jalen Brunson/Mitchell Robinson.

Seems like hyperbole. The Knicks have a clearly more talented roster, they will win more games this season but have no future.

This season Knicks are clearly better but not looking out 2+ years

The Pistons should become better perhaps before the end of the season while the Knicks should be better right now.

Knicks, easily.

Pistons looks good on paper because they drafted big names but the roster is too young and inexperienced. Cade, Bey and Ivey are good. The rest of the roster is a lot of ex-Knicks like Burks, Noel, and Knox. Hayes is a bust. Duren is to be determined.

Knicks have a good mix of veteran and young players on the roster. Brunson is playoff tested. Randle is a former 2nd All-NBA player. RJ is a rising star and has a good work ethic. Grimes is a 3 and D player. Robinson is a defensive anchor in the middle. Fournier is a negative asset. Rose is injury prone.

We should be until Cade takes that leap to superstardom. Getting Brunson in should make a huge difference for us; especially if Grimes replaces Fournier in our starting lineup so our perimeter D wouldn't be totally hopeless.

The Knicks were roughly a .500 team last year; when Kemba was starting and Rose missed most of the season. Folks under-rate just what a difference competent PG play should make...especially for Randle, Toppin, & Barrett.
