Apparently he committed silently 3 months ago, so that bodes well for our chances to hold on to him. Also seeing a lot of rumors about two flips to UCF and some commits that are just taking their time before making their announcements. Here's hoping we keep up the momentum on these high level recruits and fill up the class with them. Small class so far, but a damn good one. 8-)

With the transfer portal, it seems like the rush to fill a class isn’t as critical.

True. By fill up i mean get to like 15 recruits. I think the days of 20-25 recruits in a class, at least for a school like UCF who wants to keep spots for transfers makes is unnecessary.

I think we benefit from guys wanting to come back closer to home more than most schools. Going from Florida to some Midwest state is a shock (especially winter) that will always result in transfers.

Very nice. Don't know if it's true, but I read that he said he wasn't sure until Walker committed and that "sealed the deal for him". Which is interesting. Speaks truth to the idea that momentum in recruiting can be huge and a big get like Walker can have a bigger impact than just himself.

I've seen hints at flips, and in particular I see a good deal of postings and chatter surrounding Goldie Lawrence. Wouldn't be surprised if he flips soon, though I think he's already flipped once before lol.

Yep. I'm moving to Estero/Ft Myers this weekend and i had just upgraded my season tix, lol. I'll be lucky to catch 4 games in the bounce house this season.

Best of luck with the move! We just moved to Atlanta from NY so we’re hoping to make 3-4 games this year with our season tickets.
