That is incorrect. Maybe everything you do is to impress others, but that is not always true for most people. People genuinely do things for themselves- because it makes them happy. Because they like how they look for themselves, not others. Because it makes them comfortable in their own skin and body- not because they want to impress someone . Every move a person makes- specifically women- in regards to themselves is not about impressing men.

I'm black and this just reeks of "let's get offended on other people behalf". This just shows how silly a lot of this performative outrage is. I do think Butler's extensions look weird and are impractical for basketball. I think if he had started off with about half that length, it would have been more interesting, but I guess he can at least tie it back when he plays this way.

Maybe tool isnt the right word, but I went to Marquette the same time as him and he has always come across as someone hard to root for me personally. Its just a personal opinion, you can look at his background story and say how easy it is to root for him. But IDK every time I listen to an interview or watch him play, I get annoyed. The bouncing around teams, the fish tank, his hold me back antics, etc.

I fully accept he worked his way up from a tough background, became a top 15 player and always plays hard, but man despite all of that I I personally don't like watching him and would be at the bottom of the list of NBA players to have a beer with. Just a useless personal opinion.
