Doubt he'd make the team but I guess there's always a chance.

Most likely a training camp guy who might end up on a 10 day of Covid forces it. Not expecting much.

Averaged over 20 MPG in 58 games for Portland last season.

Evidently Phillip Wheeler and David McCormack are also under contract for training camp.

Correct. These are all Exhibit 10s, as Kevon Harris was before getting his two-way deal with Orlando.

We can take up to 20 players to training camp.

Krawczynski believes he, Paschall and Lawson are all competing for roster spots. It's going to be a fun camp!

Let me see if I understand all this. We have 15 players with some kind of guaranteed contract. We have 2 2 ways and we can add three exhibit 10s to make a total of 20 in camp?

:banghead:

They would be competing for the 15th spot with someone like Nathan Knight, unless another move happens before camp to open up one of the 15 spots.

No they aren't. Paschall and Lawson are on 2 ways, Knight has a standard contract, Elleby is a camp invite.

I know it's the offseason but this is a total non-story

Austin Rivers is only guaranteed $650K
Nathan Knight is only guaranteed $350K
Naz Reid and Jaylen Nowell are guaranteed $0K

If Lawson, Paschall, Elleby, McCormack, or Wheeler really impress in camp and Rivers, Knight or possibly Reid do not, I could easily see the Wolves waiving one of the partial guarantee guys.

If Elleby, McCormack or Wheeler really impress in camp and Lawson or Paschall do not, I could easily see the Wolves waiving one of the 2 way guys.

Not necessarily a sure thing, but there is a chance.

A lot of guys have been mentioned in this thread. Please give me specifically the names of the players that have zero chance of making the roster and I may take you up on your bet.

If the standard is subjective like "legitimate chance" I don't see how you can win that bet...just saying.

Jon K seems to think there is competition for Knight's 15th roster spot:
