1. Absolutely nothing happened during the latest meting between KD and Nets Joe. KD was heard mumbling with the tiniest voice "i want Miami" only to be met by chuckles, resounding "NOPE"s and occasional "Duncan Robinson" with chuckles.
2. Heat FO is stealthily shifting to commit Caleb at 4 but started calling LaMarcus Aldrige, Paul Millsap, and DeMarcus Cousins as well. So there is some hope there that Caleb won't die mid-szn. Heat brass is getting a lil annoyed that UD is taking his sweet time but that is neither here nor there.
3. ttyl but remember we only have 10 pages for this OP's blessing pls think of what you're posting before you actually posting. quality >>> quantity k? ttyl ICC out

Spoke to my dude, apparently it made it back to the team that Durant is furious heading into the meeting with ownership. He spoke to a couple high level players that he is close with to get their opinion. So ownership called his Agent sometime this week to preface the meeting.
They wanted Durant's agent to talk to Durant and explain heading into this meeting to come with a clear head, and expectations of coming back and playing. This meeting will not be about moving him to any desired destination or to talk about available trades scenarios. They want him to understand there is nothing in the market or offer remotely enticing them to trade him, also they will do what is right for the team above his needs. This meeting is more in line about future commitments and how to put the best foot forward into having a successful year ahead for the team, which they feel they can do. They want to make sure that Durant knows exactly what he is walking into, and to lower any expectations of him thinking this relationship is over on his terms.
He doesn't know if the meeting has already happened, but probably not since nothing has hit social media yet. He could either head into this meeting completely deflated and just accept that he is returning to the team even if its not on his terms, or this could get real ugly.

Considering the season they had, it was not a poor playoffs. They just had the wrong match up. The Celtics got to the finals. The Nets could easily have swept the Hawks. The same if Embiid was healthy the entire series i dont like our odds. The series i would have love to seen is the Raptor playing us, they are like a longer fast younger version of our team, but we have age and experience.
What the Nets are doing is the right thing in the big picture. They are standing firm and are forcing KD to play out his contract. They wont take trash trades involving Duncan and honestly who can blame them? Kyrie is playing for a longer contract, he is motivates and will be great this season. Ben just has to pass the ball and defend, he will thrive with isn’t that framework.
KD is not someone who is mentally strong like say a Butler so expect him to show up and play. If he does try a Ben Simmons move, the Nets will go Nuclear on him, Nike will cancel his 30 dollars shoe contract ( its the last year of the deal and with this negative publicity its a nail on the coffin), expect the NY market to make him public enemy #1, dude wont know what hit him. This is someone who gets into to online fights

Doesn't KD speak directly to our players anymore? Wouldn't they know if the meeting happened already?

Bk now trying to gain control of the situation by preambling & giving impression of limited option to just 1 of staying & running it back. Making it as though there is no alternative due to insufficient offers. After reports stating BK wld honour Kd’s decision & staying in conversations w/ teams etc.
It’s a smart business move to set these limitations mentally & promote team over self. It’s cute. Who are we kidding here though, it’s players league since LeQuit brought his talents to South Beach & forming super-teams all over the NBA landscapes w/ players & organisations following the blueprint.....
In spite of all the Kyrie drama, coaching changes, injuries, trades etc. KD has represented himself well & been loyal to the Nets. It was nvr stable for him there esp w/ all the Kyrie drama - who’s to say the issues won’t continue. Owners must consider this. Furthermore Nets consider he’ll be 34 w/ limited window. KD wants to prove he can win a title w/out Curry & mend his legacy in a way. Time isn’t on his hands. His heart is no longer in BK.
I don’t think KD will storm into the meeting stomping his feet to the beat of Miami. He’ll state his case & see if the owners will empathise. Not sure his actions after their decision but ultimately KD has as good argument as any player before him who’s wanted to move on in this new era nba. At least he was honest & transparent about his decisions.
