Re: Summer Runs and Random Player Sightings
Jalen Harris had a good playoff game for the SSS in cebl play infront of Nurse... They're off to the semis

Jumper got me a bit excited. Looking smoother and less choppy.

Is Pascal now considered a 3 level scorer?

Let's hope so!
. If he can get defenders to respect that shot, he'll be so hard to stop.

I heard Jalen Harris and SSS got robbed in the semis. Ref made a horrible call on the last play of the game. I'm trying to find a link

I have been advocating for Trent to stay as a starter because players like Pascal and Scottie need space to operate. As a pull-up shooter he is one of our top options and is something that helps the offense to function.
OG, who gets the rep as a a good 3 point and scoring threat has some flaws as RR highlights:
Anunoby ranked in the bottom 15 leaguewide as a pullup 3-point shooter and was the single least efficient isolation player in the league. Trent was a top-30 pullup shooter and top-25 isolation player.
https://www.raptorsrepublic.com/2022/08/15/context-commerce-and-the-gary-trent-jr-catechism/
That is pretty wild that OG wants the ball even more and that he has such mixed results as scoring threat. The worry with OG is that he doesn't take another step. I'd argue he fell back a bit last year performance wise on both ends last year, although injuries factored in to some degree.
I think the main argument to move Gary is that the next contract will be pricey, but price can't be the only consideration. He also obviously has a great fit for the Raps unlike OG who likely overlaps with Scottie/Pascal. Personally, I think we are at peak value for OG and it might be a good time to explore deals.
I heard one speculated deal for Brandon Clarke, Zaire Williams and a future first. I'd strongly consider it considering how solid a frontcourt option Clarke is, the upside of Williams and getting a FRP.
