They say you should think about baseball during sex if you’re trying not to come because it’s the least sexy event.

He means dead in that it's lost it's appeal over time. The 90's we're known as the "Juice era" in Baseball. Steroid use was very common in those days. These massive dudes like Jose Canseco, Mark McGwire & Barry Bonds set records for hitting. But they we're juicing. Baseball started to put an end to steroid use during the early-mid 2000's. Which led to a massive decline in homerun numbers across the sport. The game changed because of it.
I heard about that, I would prefer it being fair play.
It was fair play cause everyone was juicing except for a few. You had your clean guys like Griffey, Chipper and Ichiro but I think most players were in on it.

I just don’t like juicing for sport.

This hasn't been mentioned but Baseball also had a huge cheating scandal somewhat recently. When it was revealed that a team was stealing signs. You can look into the Houston Astros Cheating scandal online. It's fascinating stuff.
Baseball has a long history of scandals.
What do you mean by signs as in signs from the opposition coaches?

Even as an avid Bball fan, NFL is the greatest sport to watch. Nothing more exciting imo

Baseball is good for relaxing in the evening. you should watch it for the pitching. Great pitching is really fun to watch and really easy to tell how insane it is. Dodgers are probably winning the world series this year, they're lighting the MLB on fire.
Don't usually watch the NFL but Lamar Jackson is appointment television. most exciting player I've ever seen.

The late 90's was the most exciting era of baseball in my lifetime. Sosa / McGwire going at it. It was literally must see TV every night that summer (I think it was '98) Juicing was awesome

Astros knew what pitch was coming. The commissioner is so spineless he allowed them to keep the world series they won by cheating.

Juicing was honestly the best thing (great ratings) that happened for the sport. It actually got people to watch. People who weren't even fans of the game. They would watch just to see if their favorite player would hit a homerun that night.

I remember watching every night that summer. Between that and watching Jordan a few months prior it was probably the best sports year ever. ‘98 was probably the best year ever

How does a batter steal pitching signals? The catcher is giving them to the pitcher from behind him between his legs. If the batter is focusing on someone else to relay the signal he'd miss the pitch. The only possibility would be some sort of earpiece in the helmet.

Re: OT help needed baseball or nfl?
It was kind of ridiculous how big those guys got and how many they were hitting but you still have to be a solid hitter to hit that many. Just connecting without fouling or popping up is tough. Without juicing there would have been more fly outs but most of them still probably would have been home runs.

Here's a full detailed description of what exactly happened.
The Astros' cheating scandal began early in 2017. According to the investigation report from MLB, Houston employees in the video room used game feed from the center field camera to decode and relay the signs of opposing teams to any Astros' baserunners on second base.
The means of relaying the signs often varied. With the runner on second, the team would have a go-between from the video room and the dugout, and personnel in the dugout would send the signal out to the runner on second, who would then signal to the batter which pitch was coming. Bench coach Alex Cora would also call the replay review room to hear the sign information and, sometimes, the replay review room would send a text to a smart watch or stored phone in the dugout to communicate the signs.
However, the report stated the scandal went further. Designated hitter Carlos Beltran and several other players devised a plan to improve the sign-stealing. Cora set up a monitor that displayed the center field camera feed directly outside the dugout, and a player would watch it and read what signs were coming. The team would then bang on a trash can to signal which pitch was coming to the batter. The trash can only came into play after trying out clapping, whistling and yelling.

98 is probably my most hated year of sports I can remember. Gary Anderson not missing a single kick all season then missing the chippy against ATL in the championship game. Put a stain on that year for me as a little kid.
But ya even though I was only 7 that year, I still remember watching as many baseball games as possible because the HR chase was ridiculously good TV.

Damn, I almost did say "unless there was a runner on second base" but that is fairly rare in the overall scheme of a game, though at the same time, a much more important time to know what pitches are coming.
It is strange...I can understand individual players cheating a bit in basketball with fouls, pushes, etc, or in football with slight holds, pass interference when you might otherwise give up a td, stuff that gets penalized if caught, but a whole team in on it is crazy.
I know they had the bountygate thing...I don't know if that was cheating as much as extremely inappropriate and dangerous. And of course the Patriots do all sorts of stuff...play stealing, inflating balls and whatever but it seems rare.
