These are actually pretty bad news. Its been much more than a year since he got injured and he is still restricted to practice due to recovery.

I would not expect much from him this season...

Still the Consummate Optimist I see....

Awesome thank you!

For assistance, I believe there is a whole thread on Fantasy Basketball here on RealGM

Truth is, no one knows what to expect until he steps on court and plays a few games finally.

To me anyway, really feels like Porter jr will be the key to a title run this year. We’ve got our Batman & Robin already, but MPJ and Bones will provide the extra scoring while we also have added some strong defenders in support

Call me crazy but I don't view it as Batman and Robin with MPJ. I think MPJ has the potential and mindset to be a true #1 scorer, JOkic is never going to be a true number 1 scorer because he doesn't have the mindset to do it. Jokic is happier setting up his teammates for easy buckets. I also believe that pre-injury Murray is an average #2 but that he is an amazing #3.

If MPj can average 27 and 8 on 65% TS%, with Jokic getting 24/10/10 on 65% and Murray gets 20/5/5 on 60% than I don't think anybody in the league can compete with those 3 as top 3. With KCP's outside shooting and Gordon's improving outside shooting than I think we have a chance at an amazing season. Add in Bones and the bench being top 5 which I think we have the potential for, and we may have the best team in the league.

I agree that MPJ can and should/could be the leading scorer, it's easily his best trait. But Jokic is a complete all-around player who is the Batman of this team with Murray as the Robin. With the previous two MVP seasons, not hard to justify him as the #1 player on this team regardless of how he wants to lead, he will always be looked at as the heart of this team.

As for their averages, I certainly could see that projection playing out, that's the closest thing to a true Big 3 that we've had since we had Vandeweghe, English, and Issel. KCP, Gordon, Bones and Brown provide solid support but there are teams (GSW, MEM,LAC and perhaps LAL) who could match or exceed our talent level but feels like we have a good chemistry level. Anyway, as long as we can stay relatively healthy, this could be a special season in Denver.

Listened to a Malone brief saying Jamal is going to be on minutes restrictions when the season starts, just can't see that with as antsy as Murray seem. Seems like Malone (and the Nuggets) are tempering expectations. I hope Murray just goes off early in the season to shut Malones mouth !!

I wonder how much of him being delayed has to do with Malone and the front office knowing he should not have been in when he got hurt?

Ouch! I remember thinking the same thing when that injury occurred. Lets hope that the Nuggets are just getting the fans ready for a slow integration of both Murray and MPJ to allow for the bench to get going.

Early season minutes for both Bones and Brown just might get the bench rolling. It has to be better than last season.
Canned in Denver.

Agree, not sure who he is playing against in this video, but the higher the level of competition, the better IMO.

I am not sure, the one guy looks a lot like Faried and there is a guy that looks like he might be MPJs brother.

If both MPJ and Murray can stay healthy our offense is going to be impossible to stop. You need five guys just to guard Murray and Jokic in the two man game with MPJ spotted up, leaving Gordon and KCP wide open.

Great to see these 27/28 threes, 3p shooting is MPJ's superpower when he is healthy. Just remember Porter's 3p% drops last season to a shocking 21% from the elite 42% and 45% he has in the previous two seasons, and he misses something like the last 17 threes in the row he attempted before surgery, which is bad even for Rocky The Mascot overhead half-court shooting standards. Last season Denver was #17 in NBA 3p%, but with MPJ and Murray back, and with Brown and KCP coming, really no surprise for me if we jump into NBA 3pt% TOP5!

At this point I would say they have arrived. MPJ in particular looks great. Murray always starts slow but he looks like he has recovered from his injuries.
Canned in Denver.
