I mean we actually might if Phoenix is planning on sending every pick and swap til infinity as well and no one else is.
I still doubt it though, think Boston, New Orleans, a 3 team deal with Miami, Toronto, etc.
I do wonder if Donovan Mitchell winds up here in a 3 team deal though.
He's an exciting for with Simmons tbh.

Laugh all you want. But those supposed “role players” are worth 4-5 first by themselves, and phx has 7 juicy picks to send themselves with aging KD/CP3…. There is a reason Suns fans are split regarding this trade

Bridges and Johnson are roleplayers, you think we didn't see how awful Bridges was versus Dallas in the playoffs? No one wants Ayton. You have nothing to trade outside of your entire draft cache.
Find another team to route an all star level talent to us and then I think the offer has legs.

These Suns fans are utterly delusional.
Theyre debating amongst themselves as if they should trade for KD?
We don't want anything you have. Theres no debate to consider. Youre not getting him.

I dont think he's entirely wrong that a guy like Bridges could get maybe 3 1sts from the right team. But it would have to be a team with a surplus of 1sts and they wouldnt be good one. It would be like the Knicks 3 protected picks they got this draft where it's unlikely any one of them is in the lotto. Cam could likely get a protected 1st too

If you want to judge Mikal by last 4 playoff games and ignore 26 playoff games before that, or regular season where he narrowly lost DPOY, go ahead. I don’t think nba GMs will.. and from T&T forum most posters have Mikal worth Ben Simmons + 2 firsts

I have Ben Simmons value hovering around 0 in trade talks, so sure, Ben Simmons+2 1sts is the correct valuation. It doesnt mean anyone should trade Ben Simmons + 2 1sts for him tho

I don't. Sure his value has taken a massive hit for a plethora of reasons, but you'd probably be hard pressed to find many real life gm's who would add value to a Bridges for Simmons swap on either side of the deal, especially the latter.

I’m still trying to find out why anyone should care KD is allegedly in Phoenix tho(if it’s even true).....who cares. We know phx has been his top destination or at worst a top 2 destination since June 30th and it hasn’t helped get a deal done and that’s when phx had an easier path to doing so. Why should the nets care where Durant is?
Hell he’s been with harden for a week- does that mean a Philly deal is imminent ? Maybe next he stops by south beach and then grabs some chowdah in Boston. It’s nothing. It doesn’t mean the nets will take a deal that isn’t suitable for them because he’s in phx

Why do people keep bringing Simmons name up, anyway? Because after a critical surgery and being in a fresh situation, it's impossible to value him correctly, both for the Nets and any other team.
I think his value is pretty much x/0 until he plays for at least half a season in BRK.

If KD is here by September, which I expect, I don’t see Nash staying; he’s as good as gone. According to Ramona,
Who is credible, the Nets source said the meeting between KD and tsai, “was all part of the process” which means the Nets are most likely going to try and work with KD to make this work. If Nash is fired and KDs agent is hired into a FO role, he won’t get traded but the way he handled this **** was like a spoiled 8 year old. I expect news of Nash being fired in the next month, no way do him and KD work together after all this nonsense. He better deliver a ring next year

how does the same not go for KD? he played at league MVP level for all but those 4 games vs. boston as a Net. as much as you think of bridge's performance i assume you think even more of booker's, and for 100+ games KD was a level above that.
fans will be split on anything and im someone who actually thinks the phoenix offer is pretty good - i like the picks and i like bridges - but i liked it better with Ayton. so to do a deal now it's got to be bridges, cam, and every pick in the valley, and any argument against that reality is pure homerism.
i think most of the reaction to it towards suns fans is thinking bridges isn't an obvious give for KD or like there's any consideration to not including him. Even in year 3 or 4 KD will still be better than Bridges ever will be. Put him in that exact same role and he would shoot 60% and 45-50% from 3. suns go to instant favorite for as long as cp3 is around with KD (especially now with Ayton also back).

I don’t think Suns fans look at KD and judge him by the Boston series at all. I think fans of teams interested in trading for KD are worried that KD is 34 and has only played 90 games in 3 seasons. As a suns fan, I don’t see us as heavy title favorites because most likely one of CP3/KD will get injured.
I think Bridges is most suns fans favorite player, and we view him as much more then a role player, type of player you never consider trading, except for KD.

That Celtic series was very concerning. Was it just a bad series or is it the beginning of his decline?

You think joe tsai who seems pretty frustrated and intends on taking back control of the organization is going to fire marks and put kleiman (Durant’s right hand man) in the position of power?
Nash isn’t going anywhere before the season starts. Joe tsai publicly put out he stands behind Nash and marks and if fires Nash now he looks 100% soft and completely outclassed as an owner. I agree Nash should probably have been let go already but it’s not happening now with like 6 weeks before training camp.
If the nets don’t find a great package Durant will have to either sit out or deal with all the questions that come his way at camp.
