Damn, Chris Curtis is a whiner. He gave up, and then deliberately started to force Jack to run as a means of trying to save face. Really pathetic.

Chris is cool but he handled that poorly. He just couldn’t get nothing going and then cracked it jack wouldn’t fight his fight.

He’s since reflected a bit more humbly on twitter. It’s understandable, he’s had such a long and hard road to the ufc and here on the biggest stage of his career he laid an egg.

That was the sloppiest, worst main event I've ever seen. Holy good God. Derek Lewis turned off the broadcast in disgust; Julianna Pena is sending them gifs of how to set up combinations; Cindy Dandois....you get it.

Neal vs Luque was awesome and super interesting. Luque's standing tall, tight, and high guard really doesn't work against southpaws. The countershots just aren't there. You're not gonna catch a guy over his lead right with just a tight left hook, for example. Neal, as the less stiff fighter, was able to then exploit that open side with straight lefts over and over.

Super impressive to KO Luque. I mean, no one does that. And to leave him crumpled off of a fairly short shot like that, oof. Unbeleivably decisive.

The event this weekend. Holy God, the UFC are really outdoing themselves for terrible events. This is now the WOAT. ME is great. But then it's just terrible.

I do like that they are rewarding Silva with a painless opponent in Meerschart (the worst striker in the UFC) after he took on Pereira last.

And Silva got guillotined.... not so painless for him in the end.

This has been a good card so far. Still, not the greatest lineup but compelling fights and matchups. Murzakanov just technically pieced apart Clark.

The co main and main event on tonight's fight night were insane. Feel bad for Cruz. He was probably winning that fight until he ate that head kick. He looks so good but just doesn't have the power to take guys out.

And that landwehr dude was crazy too. Covington esque with all his pressure but a much more well rounded fighter. I think that's the best fight I've seen this year

Pretty solid card honestly! The Landwehr fight was nuts it was a great fight and I had Cruz 2-1 before he was KO'd, more pressure in the ring but man Vera floored him. That was a helluva kick.

Funny how things can go…

I had Gerald by sub so glad he took the neck even though he had that fight over with strikes and took the long way around.

1 decision loss and 4 sub wins post khamzat loss. Pretty good turnaround because that was devastating.

I don’t care what anyone says about “damage” Cruz was clearly up 3-0 to me. That one jab drop overrides all cruz’s work? It wouldn’t if it was a calf kick drop and that’d probably be more damaging.

In the end it didn’t matter and I always felt confident Vera knock out was coming. Dom did look good though. Chitos defense is very solid though. Most of those blitzes did minimal damage.

Haha. That guy went from surviving 15 minutes with Pereira (the most-decorated striker in the UFC, unequivocally) to getting effed up by the striking of Meerschart (bottom 25% striker in the UFC).

Dillashaw as an underdog seems like good money, but Sterling keeps winning when I think he's gonna lose so..

280 card looks so good and 279 looks like a bad fight night. Really giving Nate a big F U on the way out.
