He definitely has more of a one motion shot now. There are some things I don’t like, however. When he jumps his hips turn slightly to the left as he’s coming down. Little mechanical inefficiencies like that usually don’t have an impact while practicing but in game conditions, under pressure and fatigue, is when that slight hip turn might be hard to replicate, making the shot itself inconsistent. I also don’t like the wide base. Maybe that’s more comfortable for him, but I think it contributes to the hip turn. I’m a big believer in having the right leg (for righties) lined up with the rim. Some folks like to point their toes at the rim and some shoot with their feet slightly turned on an angle (like Lowry) but the leg corresponding to the shooting shoulder should be on the same vertical axis as this contributes to having a shot that always flies straight. Even in this video, about one third of his makes aren’t falling down the centre of the rim, they’re rattling in on the sides. While practicing, you want your makes to be swishes down the middle. He’ll get there though. He’s clearly in the early-intermediate stage of rebuilding his shot. You can see the emphasis on shooting the same way every time. He’ll figure it out.
Last thing, the release is much improved. His shooting hand doesn’t flare out to the right like it used to (except on that bad miss to the right in the vid).
not strong, only aggresive cuz the power ain't directed/ that's why, we are subjected to the will of the oppressive
