The Mavs signed Wright and Gueye
The Mavs signed McKinley Wright and Mohamed Gueye to training camp roster. Gueye looks a bit like Bol Bol or Bamba offensively in highlights. If the defense is as promising as Maxi in rookie year, I think TWC is available.

Wright is 5'11". Someone please inform Mark Cuban that when commentators and bball hipsters say "it's a guards league"... they mean guards who are 6'3"-6'4" and it still isn't a guard's league. There sure are a lot of moments when it seems he goes about roster formation based purely on cliches.

Do not need to overreact to camp deal. Wright averages identical number to Hardy in the same competition on better percentage.

But yes, I don't think Wright is the answer at all. Wright takes a lot of shots from outside. Many long jumpers are contested. Wright seems to be bothered by size a lot. That's even more serious than Seth. And Wright needs the ball in hands a lot.

there have been some good combos like these for names but the best of all I have to say I really like Furkan Korkmaz that has to be worth a contract just because of his name alone.

Not to mention that Furkan is better than half of Mavs roster.

The Mavs signed Tyler Hall to a 10-day contract. Offensively, Hall is much better fit than Hardy to the rest of the roster with 40% from arc and converting layups in paint, except lack of defense. I think Hall is actually better than Hardy and Wright. But still, I don't know if it's enough to make the team. Maybe Dorsey is still better than Hall. Dorsey is more proven in bigger competition and plays better defense, perhaps. Hall is 6-5 Seth Curry with poor defense.

Dorsey is much better player than all those. Problem is that he's the best with the ball, so he doesn't fit well with Luka and I'm not sure that he's good enough to lead second team. But comparing him with Ntilikina, Green, Hardy...he's light years better.

It has basically no impact to the Mavs, just hope the front office is focusing on how to improve our top 8-9 player rotation instead.

Dorsey is a ready player, he can contribute right now with the Mavs.
Not a star, not a steal but he is a basketball player and he can play.

The duo of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Tyler Dorsey provided an efficient performance to overpower Poland 101-78
Dorsey had 20 points

Like Bob8 said, Dorsey right now is a better basketball player than Josh,Frank,Hardy and our others bench guys.
