Could have had Vlad up with the bases loaded as the tying run perhaps had Kirk hit (and taken a walk off the wild Bautista)? Guess we'll never know.

Crazy to think that the combined salaries of Ryu, Kikuchi and Berrios for 2022- is greater than the entire current Orioles Payroll of about 43 million.

Hey Guys remember April when we had so much pixie dust with all them 1-run wins and that fun differential? It felt like destiny we would make the playoffs.

Orioles will finally stick a fork in them and put us out of our misery. The Blue Jays will be out of a playoff spot for good by Wednesday. Looking forward to what happens in the offseason

How long are we going to play Tapia in CF until the nerds step in? The nerds are reading the same stats we are right?

Vladdy 458 MILIION $$ contract??

(what a joke. this team has soo much talent--- but can't perform.. they/we demand for more support? they're loafing. these 24 year old guys think someone else should swoop in and win it for them when they are the ones Rogers has been waiting for. it's on them! when the crap hits the fan, you don't wait in the hall navel gazing, you storm the classroom)

The Nerds are the ones telling Schneider to play him out there, apparently

Bautista outplays his contract by more than $70 million over the next four seasons (2013-2016).

With tonight’s loss, #Bluejays are now 6-14 when Yusei Kikuchi starts and 55-38 when anybody else does.

Ever since Anderson Varejao I've been convinced the decision-makers are unduly influenced and distracted by hair. It's a cover.

At times this feels like this tanking is being done on purpose. :argue:
Does Schneider have no knowledge of baseball, and how to create a good batting lineup order.
Its like they have no business being involved in baseball,or can make any major decisions that would help us win more games.
Pinch hitting for example,or taking someone out to put a better hitter or defender or speed or what have you.
In other words strategy,or strategic thinking. Not seeing many sensible moves in this area,if any.
Watching the Rays play the Yankees tonight made me green with envy about Tampa;a team with so many injuries, and guys that wont be back this season. They beat NY with a BP start game.
Posters on this board could combine to do a much better job than our decision makers-imo.
I,d like to start seeing posts during games with what we should be doing in certain situations before a bad result occurs just to see how much more we are correct than they are.

We are 1.5 games from being out of a playoff spot. Disgraceful. Atkins needs to go in the off-season. Get a proper manager too. I know Shapiro is technically calling the shots, but I think we keep him on to oversee the Skydome renovations (that's why we hired him in the first place lol).

Both guys are attached at the hip. You got to fire both Shapiro and Atkins together in the off-season. I am sure there are others Rogers can count on to oversee the Renovations for the coming years. Then you got to fire Pete Walker also, when you get rid of Schneider. The man has been here 10 years, but the media treats him like he is an exceptional Pitching Coach; when the Stats say otherwise about our Bullpen and Starters for years under his helm.

Fire both Shapiro and Atkins. The coaching staff can go as well. Time for a change and new faces. A new approach and direction. This team has failed to perform. There is no excuse why so many players on this team are underperforming this season. Something must be going on with team morale, or maybe it's terrible coaching or maybe it's both. We've already had a manager fired. This team doesn't want it right now, and it's pretty puzzling.

That's a remarkable stat. Wow. I had no idea it was quite that bad.

Why did we give up Max Castillo again? Especially when Tapia is still playing almost every day?

I don't see how Walker can stick into next season after all the subpar pitching performances this year. Kikuchi obviously, but there's little reason Berrios should have fallen apart this year unless there's an injury that hasn't been divulged.

We have the 2 worst starters in the MLb this year getting regular appearances pitching coaches have been fired for less. Although Berrios/Kikuchi get their fair share of blame as well.
