John Wallace? Damn that’s random as hell.

He had a pretty good college career. He was also pretty popular during his college days in the New York area, so it's understandable.

I think every area has those sort of players. I remember back in the 90s and early 2000s, guys like Melvin Levett (who?) and Ruben Patterson had a big fanbase in the Cincinnati area. Kentucky had guys like Ron Mercer, Scott Padgett and Jeff Sheppard (again, who?).

Lol Melvin "the Levitator" Levett wow that was really a callback to early 2000's he had ups! Took me back to the Kenyon Martin and Chris Porter days!

Danny Fortson was another one. I remember all the kids at my school wanting his rookie cards back in the day.

Kevin Martin

Even with the elbow-out, Tuxedo shooting form he was special, but was never a major draw

I loved McDyess and this is also when we knew KG wasn’t about that life. He can pick on small white players but he run like a chicken in this clip.

For my Pacers probably Jeff Foster (he was the perfect pro. Always worked and played hard, did his job) and Lance Stephenson.

In general? I really loved Boris Diaws basketball IQ. He was such an integral part to the spurs success in the early 2010s.

Ron Lee, Suns

In a promotion that was about as 1970s as they get, they had a contest where the person who guessed how many time Lee was on the floor during the season with the Suns (The Ronnie Lee Floor Score) won a waterbed.

I love all the 3 and D Wing types and personally would rather have those types on my team than the high volume scoring wings.

Mine is a tie between Bruce Bowen and Shane Battier

I consider Manu to be a borderline superstar so I won't count him.

Besides Jason Williams, Ricky Rubio. He brought me here to follow NBA. And thanks to that I discovered Jason Williams (probably not an acknowledged superstar). And thanks to Rubio also, I began to root for what they called at that time "the Ricky Rubio improved 2.0 version" at the age of 13, Luka Doncic, (who is out the list because he maybe is a already a superstar).
