It would be great to see him in action, if for no other reason than to start to ease my Didn't-Pick-Pickens anxiety.

That one feels like a favor because they didn't think he would make the team so it gives him a little more time to get into another teams camp.

Makes sense. I think they like Tyler Davis quite a bit. With Lewis, Deguara, and whenever Tonyan's ready to return, no use in carrying 5 TE's on the roster.

My logical side brain is very excited about this defense. Like this could be the best D they've had since the late 90s.

My battered by the 20 yrs of bad/medicore D emotional side of my brain doesn't trust them.

Not only saying this because of the camp dominance, but I think this will be best Packers D since 2010, with decent odds to be better than that one. And quite frankly, with the resources put into it, it should be. But I believe this front 7 is going to manhandle opposing OL and then you have three sticky corners cleaning up the back end. No longer have a glaring hole at ILB and Gary could be a 16+ sack guy.

If at least one of the rookie WR can blow up and Bakh gets back relatively early, this team is going to be hell to deal with.

I wonder if Mack is kept as the 4th TE instead of Davis. Mack looked great blocking vs SF. Davis needs to step up in the next couple preseason games after that awful SF showing.

They also just claimed another TE.

Becker's just a camp body, maybe a practice squad candidate. Mack's intriguing but he's another guy who seems like a pretty one-dimensional blocking TE. Until we see how Tonyan looks coming off the ACL, I think someone like Davis takes priority because he at least projects as more of a weapon in the passing game. Marcedes is too old and Deguara wasn't exactly a burner even before his own knee injury.

Can't get excited about anything in August. Injuries always looming.

Rodgers doesn't seem happy with the young WRs, puts the blame for all 3 INTs squarely on their shoulders and sounds like they've had some issues in practice too
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

We're not exactly in a position to coddle them. I expected tough love. Rodgers also didn't go the extra mile which he should have given the situation. You've got a new receiving corp, spend as much time with them as humanly possible and he passed on opportunities to do that.

Yeah would have been a great time to fly some young dudes In and spend some time outside camp.
