List your best batting orders

Post#1 » by linery88 » Wed Aug 17, 2022 11:11 pm

I like these batting lineups.I would stick with any of these for long enough for the players to get used to them, and comfortable.
The last thing any opposing pitcher would want is to face our best hitter with guys on base, and thats Vladdy.

Springer
Merrifield
Bichette
Vladdy
Kirk
Teoscar
Guriel
Chapman
Tapia or Biggio,or Espinal.

Springer
Vlad
Kirk
Hernandez
Gurriel
Chapman
Espinal
Bichette
Biggio

Insert Merrifield for Espinal or Biggio as you will.

When Jansen catches, everyone Hernandez down moves up a spot.

C Kirk
DH Springer
1B Vladdy
RF Teoscar
LF LGJ
3B Chapman
SS Bo
CF Merrifield
2B Espinal / Biggio

Kirk leads off because of his good OBP, and having HR hitters behind him drives him in better (Kirk is slow).
I put LGJ between Teoscar and Chapman to break up potentially back-to-back rally-killing strikeouts. LGJ can drive in some runs with his clutch contact hitting.
Bo should be bottom 3.
Biggio and Espinal at 9 for their OBP are decent, so can setup the top of the lineup.
