What are some of lebron's best playoff defensive games in your opinion?

Obviously game 5-6-7 against the warriors, and some of those games against bulls in 2011, what else?

Well putting the 2016 finals aside, 2011-2013 is Lebron’s defensive peak, so I’d probably look there first. I’ll take a look and get back.

after that iggy block my mind always goes to 2013 game 6 that 4th quarter Tim Duncan has a dunk easy but LeBron saw it coming reacted blindsided Block By James **** still get me hype that look of pure determination mixed with a lil fear of failure good memories.

2020 Houston Games 2 or 3. 2020 was a good defensive run for him so would definitely recommend looking more at that year than you have.

2016 Finals rightly gets a lot of shine, but 2015 he had to do quite a bit on that end too. Game 3 there might be your best bet.

His duels with Paul George were individually productive and might give you a point of comparison. 2013 Game 1 is great. That 2017 series was also a lot more competitive than most people remember, and you might not have checked out much from 2017 yet. Game 4, maybe? And while we are talking about the Pacers, Game 7 2018 too? No Paul George, but that was a lot more desperate a situation, and again, you probably have not checked out much from 2018 yet. Might feel more interesting to think about the evolution year to year.

It has been awhile since I've watched but his defensive performance in 08 vs Boston was stupendous

2013 NBA Finals GM 2 vs. San Antonio Spurs. Crazy roam + rim protection, defensive boards, etc. Legendary block on Splitter.

I've long believed LBJ gets undeserved flack for the 2013 NBA Finals. If Parker misses or Bosh hits in GM 1, LBJ would have started the Finals with a monster triple-double and crazy good defense in two victories against a strong opponent. The only game he sucked in was Gm 3.

The 2016 Finals was obviously his most impressive individual peak for a series, but his defensive peak for a season was 2009. That's when he really had peak speed, stamina, and jumping ability and would just make the most insane chase down blocks game after game. Maybe look at Game 1 against the Magic when he was fresh and firing everything on all cylinders and had 3 blocks and 2 steals for the game.
