He is right.

The new CBA negotiation is going to be long, ugly, and brutal.

Next CBA the owners better demand "no play no pay". No reason these dudes should be able to just not play and keep getting paid or demand trades whenever they feel like it.

Start taking their money and we'll see how fast this crap goes away

I'm not particulary fond of Bev but he is right. I think the owners will play hardball because of the holding out and forcing their ways to a certain team stuff.

My guess is BKN didn't like the deals they were offered.

They didn't. But their asking prices were ridiculous. Edwards + KAT? Come on.

They have a great team. If KD and Kyrie actually did what they signed up to do there wouldn’t be issues. Me personally I hope they continue to cause trouble and show the owners the Gods they are. I support you two with playa empowerment. Continue the good fight.

He's becoming one of my favorite Jazz players ever who may not play a game with them!

I love KD and think he is one of the best players in the league, but I can't believe how much of a diva he is. I feel like he gives off this passive-aggressive attitude where he doesn't want to be blamed or be held accountable for his actions (ex: relating to Pat Bev's tweet, which I do agree with to some degree). I understand that the 82 game grind is very rigorous on a player's body and some rest days are needed, but isn't this bad for the game? The fans that pay X amount of dollars to see their best player only to rest? I think player's have too much power and I do have to side with some of the owner's issues as well.

Maybe I am wrong with how I am viewing this, but if anyone disagrees I am looking forward to your responses!

I didn’t take his comments as CBA or lockout stuff it’s just a ton of free agents haven’t signed. Also teams that don’t even have a chance at Durant were probably still holding out some to get in a trade as filler.

Mitchell moving out of Utah won’t hold up things like KD but for Beverly it still might keep him in Utah until they get that handled. Even IT mentioned if guys can finally get signed again and he was waiting on the Hornets.
