As if KD has Michael Jordan's resume or something and even having him on the team is a lock for a title. If that was the case, he would have won in Brooklyn. Or OKC. Or...literally anywhere outside of the dynastic Warriors. And again, this is an older version of that KD.
He's 34 years old. And injury prone. And hasn't won **** outside of the dynasty he joined that would win with or without him. Acting like not wanting to trade a 25 year old all star who was the second best player on our Finals team is rejecting the opportunity for championships is ridiculous. We were JUST competing for a championship weeks ago. With a hobbled/fatigued team. With two young stars who aren't in their prime yet. Saying the decision is down to "do you want championships or not" is ridiculous and insulting.
What **** has Jaylen Brown "won"?
Nobody is suggesting keeping JB is a "lock" to win titles (like the KD camp is). Just saying, neither is KD. And KD is much older, on the downside of his career, and has dealt with serious injuries over the last handful of years.
What other team had an NBA Finals core of guys in their 20s (with your top two being 24 and 25) and went on to break it up for a 34 year old star? Serious question
it was a BAR FIGHT kenny, A BAR FIGHT
I know mods won't like that I necro-bumped this
and I know some might still say that with KD we would've just won banner 19
but to paraphrase Shak we posted what we posted!
