Really like Mitchell. Very quick and athletic. Undersized for a big man but decent enough size to play the 4.
Physical profile are similar to Siakam and Jarred Vanderbilt. His game is more like Siakam.
Looking good at Duke practice..
Not getting a lot of buzz but I've got him ranked no. 18 on my big board at the moment.

Re: Mark Mitchell
Mitchell is going to be a prime guy to take somewhere in the 15-25 section in the draft. Looks to be a legit 6'8, dont know his wingspan but definitely seems to be long. And ya the dude is definitely a plus athlete. Doesnt really have much perimeter game to speak of at the moment, but you take him with the hope he builds onto his game like Siakam and at worst case you got an athletic 6'8 4.

yeah i think the perimeter game could use some work but just from the footage I've seen (from duke practice and his HS tape) seems like he is pretty good attacking the rim off the bounce and shows flashes here and there of being able to hit the 3 off the catch. I think that's a solid baseline when combined with the physical tools, the motor, defensive switchability, etc.
I like him. I like the size, athleticism, how hard he plays. 15-25 range sounds about right as of now. Look forward to seeing him play this season for Duke! Will be interesting to see who starts, what roles are like, minutes distribution and stuff for them..

Mark Mitchell is a great all-around player. Agree he's a first round talent, although it'll probably be 2024.
