What?

god shammgod wrote:sga has never shown he can be the main guy offensively for a winning team. maybe he can, maybe he can't. but there's no evidence of him ever doing it. and the knicks need that more than anything else. they had the 11th best defensive rating last year with a bunch of bad defenders (1st best after the all-star break - hi kemba). and were 4th best overall with their best defenders being mitch/noel & reggie bullock 2 years ago. as much sh*t as tom gets for his offense rightfully, he gets the team to play d.
they had the 23rd best offensive rating last year and the 22nd the year before. they need high level scoring way more than anything else.

Not sure why but I hate that guy (video guy not wingo). Something about him wishing me happiness and health and that preachy crap makes me sick. Plus he makes up nonsense.
I need to remember the logo so I never click it again.

SGA is not overrated as a defender.
Donovan Mitchell is a MUCH better scorer than SGA.
?
He gets hidden on defense and guards the weakest matchups and doesn’t really make a defensive impact. He’s in the No 3 No D category
He has had a negative DEF RAPTOR all 3 years too. Again not an end all be all stat but I wouldn't call him a plus defender.

That was only cause of injuries and Randle having down year the year before all he wanted from RJ was corner shooting he left the offense upto Randle Burks and Rose.DaGawd wrote:Jimmit79 wrote:Too bad thibs is Berman's mouthpiece not hahn whose corporate mouthpiece of msg this days.HerSports85 wrote:Alan Hahn just put to rest a lot of the BS narratives.
i mean you can kinda look at how many minutes thibs plays rj and tell it was some bs about him preferring grimes over him

Seems like he was doing a lot of talking on Thibs behalf which he has done during the season. But yes he’s more of a front office mouthpiece. Either way we know what he’s saying is coming from the inside
Where can i find this Alan Hahn stuff?

He's the better fit, because of size, IMO better play making, and solid defense. We have Thibs as our vocal leader...
Im not sure Mitchell's better scoring (and its really not a huge margin) outweigh the defensive back court issues he'd compound. If the price was less for SGA , he's the better fit IMO. He really doesn't have any major flaws to his game and has not even hit his prime.
