Yeah Greece is probably third or fourth best team after Slovenia, France and Serbia, but the gap between those teams is not that great, and anything can happen in single elimination games. Even this game could've gone either way. Main thing is who's gonna be the healthiest and luckiest.

What is important for Greece is we finally got Giannis to be productive, and Giannis found a way to be comfortable in FIBA.
All the brothers looked great, Dorsey looked great. These are the guys that matter. The goal is the Eurobasket, all we need is some health and we'll be competitive.

Fully agreed. We're in a nice spot in this group so this loss won't kill us. The EuroBasket matters a lot more and I hope that both Kostas and Sloukas will be back for it.

I didn't catch the game, but judging by the highlights it looks like Jokic and Giannis are already in MVP mode.

Think about this: to win the MVP your team not only has to be at least top 6 in the conference, but you also have to statistically outperform Jokic and Giannis, something only maybe two other players (Embiid and Luka) in this league are capable of.

That's the standard that they set the last four years.

Just got back home from the game. I was just behind the Greek bench and seeing Giannis from 10 meters was awesome. He's really a freak of nature, I've never seen a human that tall built like those body depictions in biology books. And what I like about him a lot that he never whines to the refs, unlike Luka, for example.

Amazing game, packed arena, had a pljeskavica and a coke 15 minutes ago. That's what I call a night to remember.

Now onto my shirt ironing for tomorrow lol.
