I just don’t see a deal to be had. No teams are going to take him without draft picks attached and there’s no deal to be had that sends back a player worth attaching draft picks for.

Turner/Bryant/Jones
Davis/Jones/Gabriel
LeBron/Reaves
Hield/Walker
Beverly/Nunn
That’s not bad at all
Pacers would be making a horrible trade. Horrible.
Why is that??

Because Turner by himself is worth 1-2 firsts with the current overpay market. Better ones than the Lakers have, without taking on 45 million per year with Russ.

If that was true turner would be traded already.

He's salary filler for a trade. Buying him out isnt an option
He certainly makes too much to truly be salary filler, but he's salary for a trade, certainly

Or maybe they want more than people want to pay? Doesn’t mean they want the Lakers offer. He’s not disruptive, he’s still a top tier defender. They aren’t in a hurry to move him, despite shopping him.

I feel like the Lakers have gone through more roster changes than most teams in history over these last 3-4 years.

Definitely not happening now the EVERYONE knows they can’t bring Beverley & Westbrook into training camp together.

Also means they value him differently then what everyone else values him, they have been trying to trade him for years.
We will see what happens his on a expiring contract.

Trade him for Mike Conley. a 2nd round pick should do it

You need to add Bogdanovic from Utah and even then, Lakers shouldn't have to send a pick.
Utah (probably would have happened already), Indy, Charlotte, NY, ORL... one will say yes at varying costs to clear cap space. And at the deadline the number of teams is only going to increase as teams are virtually eliminated.

Only a Lakers fan would think Myles Turner is worth a first round pick in 2027. Ridiculous.

I don't see Lakers getting Conley AND Bogs for Westbrook. Conley is the better player and fit at this point. Bogs is a top shooter and can score.

That would have happened if it was going to IMO, Ainge is not easy to deal with, but Charlotte, Indy, ORL seem likely.
Ainge can keep the guaranteed part of Conley on his cap sheet if he doesn't trade them and trade them for near nothing. In past he's made enough mistakes like that letting talent expire by being too difficult.
