Great idea. Still trade 4 Knick picks plus others, but send out the two best shooters on the team for when building around 2 guys who thrive with spacing and finally, as a capper, also include Cam to get rid of the rest of wing height, minus RJ.

Fairly sh*tty trade proposal. Easily one of the worst.

I think he just needs to play with a 1A, or a proper engine. He looked good playing next to Chris Paul. Ironically, I think he would look pretty good playing alongside Mitchell.

You can say that about every NBA player but the fact that he meets a baseline of efficiency gives me more confidence in his ability to one day be effective as a third option or maybe even as a second option, if he keeps improving.

sga is a 3rd option to you ...?

The long this goes, the least and least I'm liking the idea of Spider with Brunson, RJ and gulp, Randle. Reeks of those Isiah Thomas teams with a bunch of parts that might look somewhat appealing on paper but when you look closer and break down what is needed from a lineup in terms of intangibles, it just doesn't look like it's gonna mesh and work at all.

Not that it makes sense or not, Wingo said there’s a deal “being discussed.” People thought the teams were actually discussing a deal, not some random YouTuber discussing it with his follower Wingo.

Let me know when you’re invited onto KnicksFanTV. Then I might listen to you.

Actually I think if you take a look at only the games RJ Barrett and Kobe played in their first 3 seasons on the 2nd Tuesday of each month between 3:00pm and 3:05pm that RJ Barrett is actually much better than Kobe.

It's 2 unprotected, and a light protection in 2027 with an unlikely pick swap. What's the obsession of keeping Grimes out of this trade? He's good but expendable. Plus, do you replace Fournier with Rose in this trade scenario? Cool. Cam was never going to get a place in Thibs' rotation anyways. So what would be your proposal?

There are rumors about OG Anunoby, who fits everywhere and would help everyone, but it would take a substantial offer to pry him away from the Raptors. The Knicks have enough to get a deal done, but do they want to give up so many of their desirables for someone who isn’t putting them over the top?

Trading for OG Anunoby will likely not bring the New York Knicks to the playoffs, as he is not the type of player that can single-handedly change the trajectory of a franchise. However, his defense and 3PT shooting would help the Knicks on both ends of the floor, and overall, moving for OG Anunoby would be a good course of action if the team wouldn't have to give up too much.

The New York Knicks have most notably been linked with Donovan Mitchell this summer, and it seems as though he is the player that is their main target. They definitely have the assets to get him, but the team likely doesn't want to give up too much to acquire him. It remains to be seen what moves the New York Knicks end up making, and it is quite possible that we'll see them swing a trade prior to the beginning of the season.

OG wouldn't be someone that the Knicks would get first. He's someone that they could look to get next if they were able to land a guy like Mitchell. They would most likely have enough ammo left after a Mitchell trade to also land OG.

There will be some team that lets Ainge fleece them for Mitchell, but it will be more of an on-paper fleecing because the team will be looking to bump from pretender to legit contender. Like imagine the Nuggets sending all their picks for Mitchell, but keeping Porter, Jokic and all the key pieces.
