Zion has slimmed down megathread

Post#1 » by BlackThought » Sat Aug 27, 2022 5:15 am

I searched all over the internet for any recent photos or videos of Zion and I can't find anything at all. Most young players can be found playing pick up games during the summer but I have never seen Zion in any pro-am games ever.

It's a good thing that he's not in pro-am games. There's no need to risk injury there.

I do not think Zion has any interest in playing pro-am games

For what reason exactly?

He should probably to get back to playing at a high level. If the fear of injury is still so high, he has long-term issues.

Most young players play pick up games, some older players play as well. You see Harden/Draymond/Siakam playing with Rico Hines, Derozan/Booker playing with CP3, Suggs/Giddey and some other dudes playing together. Normally you would find some clips somewhere but I've never seen Zion anywhere.

For someone that sat out an entire year doesn't it make sense to play some pick up to wash off the rust?

Not wanting to get injured before season starts or wanting to spend time with family before season starts?

You must not be doing a good enough search then. This is the most recent and he does not look fat.

After decades of players playing pick up games, yeah, probably.

I saw Zion at a grocery store in Los Angeles yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.

The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.

When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

There are more risks of him being seen at restaurants than on the basketball court lol
