Gobert is a very poor one on one defender, any semi skilled center will feast on him and offensively he's so limited.

I like it.

And T's in FIBA count with the PFs.

4 PFs and a T - you're out of the game.

I remember watching some Hanga highlighrs randomly once, back when he was in baskonia (not much of a eurobasketball guy) and being relatively impressed. Dude seemed like he could become a excelent nba wing

How is he doing these days?

I love Hanga, but since joining Barcelona and Real Madrid, he has been relegated to defensive guy role and thats about it, even though when playing for Hungary, where he is by far the best player, he shows to have good handle and playmaking ability,

Adam Hanga is probably not one of the most athletic players in Europe, but he plays like one. What I mean, in every combine we will have players who post 40 inch vertical even though you never saw them use it, or sometimes players can just lift for an explosive dunk with no contact, but with contact or just in general, they wouldn't use that athleticism anymore. It is one thing to jump high when all do you is try to jump high, or sprint fast when you on a 100 meter track, but it is another thing to use that to full capacity in a high tempo, high level game. without even really trying.
I am writing this, because I have often seen takes saying Hanga is most athletic player in Euroleague, and it will depend of how you define it, because I bet if you put him in combine, his numbers wouldn't be amazing, but he is just one of those guys who really use the maximum of his capabilities. He will run in transition and dunk the ball, but then he will chase down block you 5 minutes later. He just plays athletic, athleticism is his play style.
The problem with Hanga, he never really learned how to shoot, he is just not a consistent threat from 3 at all.

Adam Hanga is poor mans Andre Iguodala. 6'7 guy who is known for his defense, playmaking and ball handling skills but not a threat to score or or hit jumpers.

I didn’t realise John Roberson played for Bosnia. He played for South East Melbourne Phoenix a few years ago.

So, are we planning to have another Serbian watch party today? Jokic vs Larkin/Sengun.

I don't know if you watched the Latvia-Turkey match, but Sengun in that match was ultimate shite. A pair of shoes on the field would have been better both on offense and defense. He actively blocked team-mates on offense and defense, passed the ball at least a couple times to Porzingis, came back to defense when Latvia had already scored, etc. Maybe he was drunk, had a heart-attack, but what ever it was, he should not have seen 14 minutes of play-time like he did (grabbing a hefty -28 in that time).

Cedi Osman was arguably the best player for Turkey (scoring, faciliating, defendin), with Larkin putting up nice numbers. But their efforts were undone by the magic of Sengun. Hopefully Sengun either wakes up for this match, or the coach keeps him off of the field (unless you are rooting for Serbia, of course then you wish the same Sengun shows up as vs Latvia :p )

I did in fact watched that game, and Sengun was terrible, he was very frustrated and forcing things on offense, and was in foul trouble the entire time, Porzingis destroyed him. But I have seen that kids talent, I don't think that game is a trend and I expect a bounce back game.

Finland might be the first European team to secure the ticket to World Cup. They need to beat Estonia, Germany needs to beat Slovenia, Sweden needs to beat Israel; if even one of those does not happen, then no team can yet today get their ticket to World Cup.

He is on the field right now, so it wasn't at least a career ending injury.
