Luka won't be back to 1st 2 years Luka, that's his body, Mavs should understand he is no longer a guard and should plan their roster accordingly to preserve him.

They'll also look for revenge for the blow out loss in Olympics qualifiers.

I agree. He will only get bigger and fatter like he has been for the past 2-3 years. Luka just doesnt seem to have the discipline to lose all the extra weight. He will turn 24 during the season, this will be his 8th year as a pro and I think this is what he is and will be in terms of his body.

Dont see the issue. And its another offseason that donciv dont have due international duties. He still havent had an offseason to actually work on it, so we wont know if its how he will be later on. And anyway, nothing says it will be better if he slims down. What brings luka above all else is his strength combined with skills, that wont get beter by slimming down. Would probably get worse of he cant bully opponents.

This busy offseason excuse is getting old. How much time does he need to get in shape? 6 months? Because he had 3 months off this year. And knowing Luka, he will gain weight with more time off. At some point his body will give out if he keeps this up. Not to mention how unhealthy he looks, definitely not how a pro athlete should look like. And he is only 23.

Why lie? If the facts are easy to check it kinda makes u look like an idiot tbh. 27/5 mavs lost to gsw. Joined national team 27/6. Now, I dont know what math teachers u had in school, but u really should ask for a refund if that is 3 months.

He was with NT for a week or 10 days in June. Then he had time off and joined the NT in August. Maybe not full 3 months but close enough. If he had full 3 months he would be even more out of shape than he is now. I dont know why its so hard for some people to admit that he just doesnt have the discipline to keep himself in shape. And staying in shape is all about discipline.

He looks in better shape than he was in last year's pre-Olympics tournament or in Olympic games. He's not the reason, why Slovenia plays worse, wrong attitude of role players is. They acted like underdogs last year, now they for some reason play like they're in semis already.

The same people who say Luka is out of shape or doesn't have the discipline to stay in shape are the same people who think Carmelo and Antoine were out of shape when they lead the league in minutes. If Luka's goal is to start the season in full shape he will have no problem doing that. Right now he looks good, the same in the playoffs.

He doesnt look good at all. I dont know what you are watching. Have you seen him "play" on defense? He is standing around, barely moving. Even worse than in Dallas.

No, I have never seen him play defense. Not playing defense does not mean he is out of shape. If so, half the all-stars are out of shape.

Luka looks exactly like he has looked in playoffs and better than last summer. For some reason nobody in Slovenia has played good D, I guess there was problem with motivation.

He does look better than a year ago, I agree. But he does look heavier than in the playoffs. Quite a bit heavier.

So all-stars are playing James Harden defense? That is what Luka is doing right now. He is tired after every possession an then rests on defense with his hands on knees. I suggest you watch the games my man. Eurobasket will show all this. I am willing to bet he will look like he can barely move before the end of group stage.

Yes, some all-stars do not play defense.

I did not watch the last two games, but I watched this clip and could not find anywhere he was tired or resting his hands on his knees. Where do I find it?
