Wouldn't hurt to have another big on our bench as well. Whiteside, Aldridge, Dwight. Whoever imo.

Not a bad option. Carmelo shot almost 38% from 3 last year on a team with no spacing. He grabs rebounds occasionally. He's pretty stiff on defense at this point but that's what you're getting from Gallo too at this point in his career. Melo isn't much of a downgrade if any.

A lot of those Centers instantly become the best Center on the Raptors lol. Crazy how a scrub like Birch landed a 3 year/21 million deal and those guys can't get the minimum.

All you guys hyping up Trez realize the last 3 playoff teams he played for realized he hurts more defensively than he helps offensively right? He kept getting played off the court. Sure he can feast on 2nd units offensively in the regular season, but there is a reason he was getting 1 year deals and why teams weren't upset to see him go. He's unplayable against good teams when it matters.

So if you are a bad team, you don't want a guy who is a PR issue putting up empty stats because what does it gain you.
And if you have playoff ambitions, well you want a guy who can actually help you in the playoffs and add to that the PR issues.

Some of you just look at box score production and think stud. It's the same with citing Boogie or LMA or Melo or Blake at this point. They are names. But they aren't playable defensively and not nearly good enough on offense any more to overcome that.

Thin list

Wouldn't sign more than three or four as backups for a bad team.

Im not surprised that so many of those is considered lockerroom issues, or former "stars" that doesnt really fit or want to fit in as the roles they would be wanted to play.
