Nobody is going to make a case until a trade actually happens and we see what was dealt.
Until then, rumors are just rumors. Why argue or debate about something that doesn’t consist of accurate information?

that would be debating the move itself. i'm asking why it's better to have donovan mitchell on a team with rj barrett but not 2 of obi/grimes/iq vs a team with all 3 but no rj

Someone close to "ownership" told him they will either extend RJ or trade him in the next 24 hours? He led it off with take this with a grain of salt. So why go all in trying to convince us that such a close source would give him weak information? He needs to clear his name for posting it but, he doesn't care about clout? WHATEVER!

One thing that does make sense, the contract extension for RJ. He said they had an offer for RJ on the table. He then said that perhaps they are too far apart on the deal so they may as well trade him. By tomorrow. WTF? Some negotiation they had there. Seems more like a ploy to pressure RJ into taking less money.

Dude seems adamant that he has a legit source close to ownership. That's all I can take from any of this.

I guess we will hear something tomorrow if the dude was right. Then he would have some clout for sure!
