Build a starting five: former stars who played for your team post-prime
Build the best starting lineup you can under the assumption that each player would be in his prime in your new lineup.
Each player should have been generally considered a marquee player (perennial all-star and/or all-NBA nominee) for a sustained period (say, six seasons or more) before playing for your favorite franchise during the twilight/ring-chasing/bench-riding part of his career. If you can't find a candidate that meets the 'marquee player' standard, pick the player whom you think had the best career during his prime.
The players cannot have made an all-star team while on your team, and they shouldn't be/have been considered a primary contributor (full-time starter, 30+ mpg, offensive focal point, etc.) unless your team is/was a bad/losing team and they are/were only getting their numbers as garbage stats.
SPURS
C: Moses Malone
PF: Pau Gasol
SF: Dominique Wilkins
SG: Glenn Robinson
PG: Doc Rivers
I like my frontcourt, but I had a hard time with the backcourt and may revisit this later.

clips probably go with:
bill walton
dominique wilkins
grant hill
paul pierce
sam cassell
maybe serge ibaka goes in there for wilkins if you're thinking about an actual, balanced lineup

Fun topic! I’m not going to look anything up and just go off the top of my head so sorry if I miss someone…
PG: Mike Bibby (1 game I believe then waived)
SG: Michael Jordan
SF: Paul Pierce
PF: Christian Laettner
C: Zydrunas Ilgauskas (0 games, but was on the roster then subsequently bought out)
I was born in ‘89 so excuse any ignorance towards players before I was a fan.

Re: Build a starting five: former stars who played for your team post-prime
Since I've been watching:
Amare Stoudemire
Dennis Rodman
Peja Stojokvich
Vince Carter
Deron Williams
Odom, Rondo, Brand of the bench.
Could they beat '17 GSW? Maybe.

Re: Build a starting five: former stars who played for your team post-prime
Fun thread!
Not so easy for Utah, we just keep all our own old stars
Bernard King and Dell Curry both did stints in Utah *before* their careers really took off, but that's a separate question.
Post-prime I see guys like Tom Chambers, Tom Gugliotta, and a 4-game stint from Darryl Dawkins...maybe Mark Jackson at PG?

Your criteria makes it difficult to come up with anyone else for SA so I will deliberately interpret the term "marquee player" very loosely
Antonio McDyess
David West
Rudy Gay
Tracy McGrady
Andre Miller
Bench: David Lee, Damon Stoudemire, Kevin Martin

The Warriors:
Mookie Blaylock/ Avery Johnson
John Starks/ Calbert Cheney
Richard Jefferson
Jermaine O'Neal/ David West
DeMarcus Cousins/ Zaza Pachulia
Very 90's ball team.

Deron Williams/Avery Johnson
Vince Carter
RJeff
Peja Stojakovitch
Tyson Chandler (second stint)? -- doesn't fit the criteria, but can't think of other center
EDIT: Amare fits at center

At center the Celtics can choose between Shaq and Bill Walton.
Another big is Sheed. Jermaine O'Neal was there too, actually, as much as I'd like to forget.
Bob McAdoo doesn't count by thread rules; he was past his peak but still a lead scorer.
Nique clearly fits.
Guards who come to mind tended, even if past their prime, to still be all-stars -- Tiny Archibald, Dennis Johnson, Ray Allen ... Kenny Anderson doesn't count either by thread rules.
[By the way -- Wizards Michael Jordan shouldn't count either.]
We do have Michael Finley.
Scott Wedman never hit 18 MPG for the Cs.
Walton aside, I haven't thought of any ball distributors yet.
Edit: Sam Cassell

Can we bring KG back because he played his final washed years with us?
Derrick Rose
Latrell Sprewell
Andrei Kirilenko
Thaddeus Young
Brad Miller
Yeah apparently not many people like to spend their pre-retirement in Minneapolis?
