I know scottie can play the 4 but isnt he considered a wing . Raps fans were comparing him to a young Kahwhi...

He’s good but he’s not a superstar.

If Tatum is a superstar then Devin Booker should also be.

Tatum's value gets boosted because of the scarcity of what he is, a shot-creating jumbo wing who's at least average on defense. If you normalize positional value then he and Booker are basically the same.

Not too interested in non-Sixers depth analysis but my gut tells me he doesn't pull 5 man lineups upwards himself. On that team it seems a team construct where Smart, Brown, Horford, Williams each are equally responsible to Tatum.

I think he's accurately rated. Not good enough to be the best player on a championship team but a quality #2.

That's a bit like saying the Celtics weren't that good because they "only" won 51 games. They were 25-25 through 50 games, 26-6 the final 32. He was a big part of them turning their season around. 30 PPG on 65 TS% after the break. He's shown himself to be at that level for stretches, has to put it together over a whole season, seems inevitable he will given his trajectory.

Josh Jackson signing with Toronto...Such an underrated addition in my opinion. I know Jackson hasn't lived up to expectations, but he'll fit in nicely in Toronto. They play that positionless basketball and he's a high energy wing that can guard multiple positions. Wouldn't be surprised at all if he ends up getting some decent minutes on that team. I wish we would have added him.

Maybe they enter the donavon Mitchell sweepstakes. Og, Trent Jr , Acquaa ... picks....

Toronto has all the length and Athleticism but could really use a high skilled scoring guard to balance out the team .

Yea Toronto is primed to go after Mitchell. Trent Jr./Anunoby/FRPs for Mitchell.

FVV/Flynn
Mitchell/Jackson
Barnes/Porter
Siakam/Thad
Achiuwa/Boucher

Only issue is whether or not Mitchell would want to be there long-term.
2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:

Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Edgecombe/Grimes/Gordon
George/Oubre/Edwards
Watford/Barlow/Walker
Embiid/Drummond/Bona/Broome

Would remind me of the 2001 Sixers with Don45 being Iverson.

Imagine forcing your way out of Utah to get to NY, but ending up in Cleveland. LOL. Well at least the plane ride is shorter.

If he cares more about basketball than being a young socialite, Donovan should be thrilled he's a Cav and not a Knick.

So where does this put the Cavs in the Eastern Conference hierarchy? This is going to be a wild season and EC playoffs with Boston, Milwaukee, Cleveland and us fighting for the top, and quality teams like Miami, Toronto, and Brooklyn hanging around.

They have an elite interior defense but their wing rotation is small as ****. They basically need Levert to play at all times which is a no-no.

I don't see them as a real threat until they adress that, it's basically the same problem the jazz had

If they can even be average at the wing they could be really good, though. Maybe not championship caliber yet, but a team that if healthy will be a handful in a short series.

Seems to me the Cavs could certainly use Thybulle now.
