I fully expect Luka and Dragič to kill our perimeter defense today(...)

This. Imo Slovenia definitely has the most formidable combination of perimeter players in the tournament in Dragic and Doncic. The next best would probably be something like Sloukas-Calathes / Fournier-Heurtel /Schroeder-Wagner/ Larkin-Korkmaz so yea imo that gap is pretty big. When Luka plays seriously he is very tough to limit both in the NBA and in FIBA games. So it will essentially come down to how consistent Dragic can be or as Tomazan said whether the role guys can carry some of that load.

Luka is out of shape and Dragic is not what he used to be, at least not consistently. They will not get to the semi final is my prediction. I believe even todays game will not be particularly close and it will be a relatively easy win for LTU. I hope I am wrong though.

It is Eurobasket opener, first Eurobasket after 5 years, and the arena is completely, and I mean, completely empty. Such a sad sight, a slap in your face reminder what a Z grade sport Basketball is in Europe.

Last year Lithuania NT had the worst coach in team history.

Coach, coach ... Do you think that France has a good coach?^^
I would like to see Collet coaching in ... 2002. But in 2022 what he offensively does with spacing is simply terrible...

I love this game! I really like Lithuanian game.

Maybe teams should try some defense :)

Nice to see, atmosphere in COlogne is amazing, it really feels that Lithuania is a home team. But we have seen 2 games in Tbilisi today, and both games were completely empty, where both COlognes games were full packed, it is not just the teams. If I am FIBA, I dont make Georgia home team ever again after this showing.

I think they do try, and try hard, but offensive talent is overwhelming.

Turkey just pulled out a very close win. Korkmaz won it for Turkey in the end.
