Re: Roster Cuts/Moves
I don’t get this whole Denzel mims drama. He was a second round pick it wasn’t like he was a blue chip receiving prospect. He reminds me of that browns WR whose name is escaping me that got cut in hard knocks a few years ago

Shanahan goes through RB's faster than Carroll does pieces of gum.
Conclusion: Buy low on RBs. You can find equal if not better value in later rounds.

I have no issue investing in one early (Adrian Peterson, Derrick Henry, Jonathan Taylor, etc.).
The problem for Shanahan has been investing draft capital in guys who aren't true difference makers.

Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of guys worthy of a high draft pick but they have the talent and resume to back it up. Sermon never had the elite athletic traits to be an exciting player at the next level. Now someone like Breece Hall, you can just watch his college tape and look at his measurables and tell that he's going to be special...I have no problem investing high draft capital in someone like him, but there are usually only 1-2 guys like him every year.

The consensus for the most part was that Hall & Walker we're in a tier by themselves. Then a huge gap when you get to the next guy (tier). They likely could have gotten Price on day 3 of the draft. It seemed like a reach at the time.

A body to help with an injury depleted secondary, and maybe he still retains some intel on the Cardinals.

Another body for the thin secondary unit.
