Is he destined to become another Man United albatross signing? £85m is a lot of money.

Anthony is good. But it always has to be seen if he's good enough for PL. He has played some very good matches in champions league, a level that Man Utd can only dream about. In Dutch competition he is one of the most spectacular players. There have been games that he destroyed his opponents. But also matches were he was very subpar or even close to invisible. He needs to be more consistent in PL to succeed. He should also score more goals. And he has some mannerisms that won't be accepted in PL.

He does have the ability to create something out of nothing. He can break open defenses and create space for other players. He is fast and highly skilled.

I believe he can succeed.

100M euros is way too much tho, only reason they paid that much is because of ten Hag.

We can only hope. all Prem fans need at least 1 of the big 6 to be a joke.

Heh, we've been the joke long enough. Let someone else do it now.

I nominate Chelsea.

Fofana should be gone today. Wout Faes in as replacement.
Youri offer now in, so he'll probably go.
Torino pushing hard for Praet.
We wanted Sarr but can't afford the £25m - pathetic
Probably get some poor winger on loan.

I'd like Diallo from PSG as our other CB signing.

Think it's Liverpool trying to get Youri on the cheap. Maybe Arsenal will put their hands in their pockets now and stump up some money. Chelsea need him though.

The amount of money spent on transfers in the Prem is obscene and counteractive for football.

EPL clubs may be financing many clubs in less richer leagues.

The Big 6 is the super league. the rest of us are just there to try and legitimise the Big 6 monopoly.

Wow Chelsea spending. Bad start made them desperate?

City buys a defender at the deadline buT Arsenal stands pat.

United seems to have better expectations, at least return to UCL, so they made a big buy. But if they’re spending so much for a striker, why not do what Ronaldo wanted, move him to a UCL club?

Probably but I would think at this point he cares a lot about setting UCL scoring records. Or maybe he hasn't won enough UCL titles in his career.

Looks like Mbappe was sold a dream by the PSG board and Luis Campos has also figured that out. Both want to leave as soon as, Messi is likely to be back in Barca next season as well. It’s not looking good for them

Forbes just said Mbappe was the highest-paid futbol player.

Would Real pay him even more? You'd think he'd get more endorsements playing in Paris than in Madrid, given he's the biggest French footballer star?

They have so much money they'll always be able to get "quality" players.

MBappé is a spoiled brat.
