Kawhi's defense (no **** :) ) and playoff performances in his peak years (too meagre for T-Mac) make this easier than it seems

One stat for you, T-Macs peak TS+ is his one big year was 109. Kawhi’s career TS+ is 109. Then add in defense…

Kawhi's consistently great 3 pt shooting(which tends to get even better in the playoffs over his career) is a big difference on offense and then defense Kawhi was still great in 2017. It's close I think since McGrady could move/create like few other wing players in nba history but Kawhi just has that rock steadiness to his game at his best where nothing seems forced. Sometimes guys who can create too easily end up taking too many bad shots as a result.
