How strong are the Cavs now?

That looks like a pretty monstrous team. Their youth and talent will be a problem, could they be a top 4 seed?

They'll go as far as Mobley takes them

Strong enough for LeBron to plan his third stint there.

Put some RESPEK on JAFRO he's the undisputed leader of that team. Coordinates them on both ends and leads with his play, absolute monster.

if Mobley takes a jump this team can be a top 3 seed team in the east

Title contenders.

I think Milwaukee, Boston and Philly are the only teams that might have a clear advantage over them. I think they will be on par with Miami and can absolutely be a top 4 seed in the East. Brooklyn is also obviously a contender but they are a wildcard with all the drama going on around them.

I really, really like the core of Garland, Mitchell, Mobley and Allen.

Spoken like someone who apparently didn't watch a Cavaliers game all season and is ignorant to the team in general.

Brilliant young core. Having those guys locked up for the foreseeable future means they're going to be really good for a really long time. Right now I'd slot them in at a 4/5 seed, but in a couple of years time they could be THE team in the East.

Their depth needs some love as well. Being able to send out a secondary unit featuring Rubio (if healthy), LeVert and Kevin Love?

That's tough.

Depends on the development of Mobley and Garland. They definitely have the upside of being a top 3-4 team in the EC.

Lebron should’ve waited before signing that extension.

On a scale of Hercule to Goku they're probably somewhere around Piccolo strength.
LeBron's NBA Cup MVP is more valuable than either of KD's Finals MVPs. This is the word of the Lord

3 all star players. One elite prospect who could be a 4th. Good depth with Rubio, Levert, Love.

This is a contender. I’d say lower tier contender but if Mobley becomes an all star caliber player…. Yea.

5th-7th this year with upside for more. Mobley’s upside is key. If he is the type of AD/KG/Duncan PF we all think he is, the Cavs will eventually be title contenders. I just don’t think he is that player yet.

I think the Cavs have one more move left in them over the next year.

Top 5-6 in the East, ECF potential but more likely a 2nd round exit

Behind the Bucks, Celtics, and Sixers. Depending on how the Nets do, they are behind them as well.
So 4-6 seed.

Problem: Not enough shooting unless Mobley has learned to shoot. Teams are not afraid of Mobley's, Allen's or Okoro's shooting ability, so opponents can put as many players in the paint as they want. Positive thing they have good defense, so they don't need to score that much to win.

Agreed. They are this with a very bright future. Garland and Mobley will only get better. Should be a realistic title contender in about two years. Anyone who thinks this was a bad trade for the Cavs are crazy.

Defensively they worry me little bit but ECF bound seems very possible now. im going get some heat for this but they could beat the nets or 76ers.
