Happy for John.

Good for Winston -- & no particular surprise.

Adopting Clips as my 2nd team (probably end up being my most watched team all things considered) this year. Rooting for Wall. Plus big fan of Kawhi and Reggie Jackson

Looks like Rice Jr is in the Big 3. Better that than the Big House.

I hope John Wall absolutely kills it for the Clippers. I hope he helps them win a title.

John Wall is a complex & fascinating man. He's smart as hell & driven by deep values.

Describing his close circle of friends & family in this interview, expressing what they've meant to him & been for him, he said, "that's what love and loyalty are for."

Describing the game, he said, "basketball is my sanctuary."

Not all that many people have figured out that everyone needs a sanctuary. Not many have embraced love and loyalty as the center of life.

I have no greater desire for the upcoming NBA season than that John Wall experience the maximum of success.

Question for him was how to get his life together -- his mind & his values. He was a talented kid.

I don't think he had NBA talent. He had the game and athleticism of a 6'8"-6'9" scoring tweener F, but in a 6'4"-6'5" G body with insufficient wingspan and/or athleticism to compensate.

You're probably right. But, I tell you what... I'd still say that the big question for him was how to get his life together!

I don't expect much from John this year although i expect him to put his best foot forward. Its just been so long since he's done it a high level. In Houston he looked ok athletically but he never got out of that Sam Cassell mode of just jacking up mid-range shots. I expect that to continue... will be interested to see if he defends tho.

Montrezl Harrell -- certainly one of our best players last year -- has just signed a 2-year deal w/ the Sixers. 2d year is a player option.
