Sexton is a small SG, who is a great scorer but not someone who creates for teammates or someone who defends well. Hayes is pretty much the exact opposite of that and could guard the bigger and better guard on defense.
Hayes + Kemba for Jordan Clarkston might make some sense for both teams.... Kemba then gets bought out to sign wherever he wants to sign. Clarkston is coming off a down season and the worst 3 point shooting year of his career, but he's been a bonafide bench scorer for Utah for a few years.
Wouldn't that make Hayes a good compliment to Ivey?
And in 3 guard line ups doesn't Hayes compliment Cade & Ivey?

C'mon man, we've gone over this. Hayes is the devil.
Jordan Clarkston;
30 years old.
I mean, what?

Think it's obvious that certain people are done with Hayes but it boggles my mind why.
Dude has court vision and is a quality defender. Ain't nothing wrong with him playing alongside guys like Cade & Ivey as the secondary handler since on the other end of the floor he can take the tougher assignment to lighten their load.
The way Casey is though I wouldn't be surprised to see Burks start at the 2. We have a real logjam in the backcourt unless you believe guys like Burks, Diallo and Cade are all gonna get minutes at the 3 and Bey's gonna get minutes at the 4.
We really need a 3/4 kinda guy in the Crowder/RoCo mold but maybe Livers is that?
Bags - Noel - Duren
Stewart - KO
Bey - Livers
Burks - Ivey
Cade - Hayes - CoJo
Diallo the odd man out and we all know how that will go down.
Long term:
Duren 24 - Bags 24
Stewart 32 - Livers 16
Bey 32 - Livers 10 - Cade 6
Ivey 32 - Some Sniper 16
Cade 26 - Hayes 22
