And FIBA says it is ok.

Just ridiculous.

I think they don't have any framework in place to repeat games if necessary. I also don't know why but it seems as though the main FIBA issues are particularly with FIBA Europe. I haven't heard of similar complaints in the tournaments or WC qualifiers in the Americas, Africa etc.

After the Euroleague beef FIBA Europe seems to have fallen apart. At some point another organization might have to be in charge of Eurobasket, but that of course would mean that the Euro teams would probably be excluded the Olympics and other intercontinental events.

What do you mean?

He said they would need to let Doncic chose for which country he wants to play and you agreed. And it doesn't make sense to me because he doesn't have multiple nationalities or passports.

Too bad Luka did not choose Serbia. That team would rule euro basket for at least a decade if not more. Heck might squeeze a world championship in aswell.

Kinda crazy how he’s recognized for being a GOAT tier passer when he might also be a GOAT tier scorer.

Somehow he also seems even quicker than he has ever been. We might get a peak season from Jokic this year even better than last year which is scary because last year was crazy.

It's better this way, more competition, and Micic is very good, Serbia are looking like favourite as it is.

Well, he's not Serbian so it makes sense he didn't. I think Spain recruited him the hardest, so his dad had to speak publicly about it

Spain beats Turkey in a close game and gets the 1st spot in Group A. Turkey is 2nd. Spain's loss to Belgium and Turkey's loss to Georgia ended up not hurting them in the end.

Alberto Diaz's hustle was big for Spain at the end of the game. He played a pivotal role in sealing the win for Spain with the deflection that caused Turkey's turnover.

Well, Spain still ends up facing Lithuania. Not exactly an easy out. But props for winning that group nevertheless.

Obviously, a lot of basketball to be played yet. Something tells me, though, that we're headed for a Serbia v. Greece collision in the Final.

Apparently it's Luka Doncic vs. the French National Team. Gobert in early foul trouble.

Remove Luka from todays match and France leads 30-40 points at this time. Insane carry job in the 1st half.

1st: if refs whistle prepelic"s foul on MBaye, you never have contact between Poirier and Doncic
2d: Poirier simply grabbed a rebound...
3rd: if you start superstar calls like there, you're becoming NBA , but NBA with only a part of its players ...
LA 2028 (Starters):
Francisco - Strazel - Malédon - Traoré ?
Coulibaly - Fournier
Risacher - Cordinier
Yabusele- Hoard - Essengue/Penda?
Wembanyama - Lessort - Raynaud / Beringer /Sarr?

If you simply grab a rebound, you don't cut open someones head in the process. Why on earth would he even need to bring down his elbows like that and with such force. He came from behind and knew exactly where Doncic is. BS move.

Luka's still fat, apparently.
