He said they would need to let Doncic chose for which country he wants to play and you agreed. And it doesn't make sense to me because he doesn't have multiple nationalities or passports.

Too bad Luka did not choose Serbia. That team would rule euro basket for at least a decade if not more. Heck might squeeze a world championship in aswell.

Don't be greedy man, you have like 50 millions great basketball players, leave something to the rest of Europeans :D

In goes Lithuania and Belgium, down goes Bosnia and Bulgaria.

Lithuania had a solid lead ever since the second quarter and was never really threatened. They knew that after starting 0-3 they had no room for error so they were determined to win these last two games. And they did.

Bulgaria fell behind in the first half and they fought hard to come back. They even made it a 4 point game with 3 minutes to go. But they were never able to get over the hump. Belgium clamped down defensively and they secured the win.

People were indeed laughing at the Kings but people were also pushing hard against Euro fans who were screaming from the rooftops that Luka was the next big thing. I remember these discussions well. There were a lot of people who were **** at the level of competition in European basketball in an attempt to say that Luka isn't going to be that good. I even recall a poster saying that the G-League was a better level of competition.

They do. A foul doesn't need to be intentional to be a foul. Accidental contact between one's elbow and another's head is still a foul.

I wasn't talking about Selfishplayer. I was not aware that they had made such comments. I had someone else in mind. But that just means that there were more than one

Actually the question is who is getting into "pipe" of the other. BTW I even not contest the foul, but the Unsport foul. When the guy just do a normal play, that is not a good call.

Oh we had plenty, Luka's draft board thread is still one of the best. As a very big natural pessimist, I had bad Luka takes as well, like I said his floor was Evan Turner. I really believed he will be a star, but I expected the worst. That experience taught me, that is why I am high on Alperen right from the get go, screw pessimist. Granted, we are all just fans, but there were people who are paid millions for their basketball knowledge, who seriously thought Bagley is better pick over Luka.

The second bullet point under 37.1.1 says that excessive, hard contact caused by a player in an effort to play the ball or an opponent is an unsportsmanlike foul. My guess is that the refs ruled the contact excessive and hard because, well, it was an elbow to the head. Unintentional or not, basketball play or not, if it's deemed to be excessive, hard contact then they have to call an unsportsmanlike.

And given the amount of blood that was caused by this contact, I am inclined to agree with them.

What Doncic is doing right now is amazing. Part of me is rooting for him tonight over this monstruous game.

And 2nd or 3rd, it's not that different right ?

3 in Goberts face for 45, man is on a mission today, I don't think he had 2 minutes of rest in the 35 minutes played.
