2 consecutive classics between these 2 teams, man what a game, Dragic woke up in the right time.
Defense wins draft lotteries!

Better intensity than many nba postseason games. Euroleague is underrated.

Slovenia 88 points, Doncic 47. What an absolute crazy carry job this was. I'm glad we at least have G.Dragic aswell. He did amazing at the end with his defense and fastbreaks.

With 45pts, 5min to go. The bet is not that hard.

He made two free throws. I was impressed.

He had no chance to score though... French sold out to make him pass and he made the right passes: Slovenia just missed open shots.

There was a graphic saying second highest in history. I'll try to check.

Evan exploded!!

Doncic was really great but sometimes he should shut up :)

Whatever the issue, that was a really intensive game. So Slovenia deserves that win. But ... question of refs has to be really took into consideration for next tournaments.

Without Mike Tobey. Or any semi-decent center. Just saying.

He is a guard who is routinely the slowest player on the floor, and it doesn't even matter. He drives to the basket and he goes slower instead of faster with every step. He jumps backwards, he passes to his blind spots, he takes circus shots in the most crucial moments, and the harder the game gets the better he plays. He really is one of a kind.

1st two years Luka was taking players of the dribble with quickness, he changed his game when he got thicker.
I bet you anything if you put those people on a track race against Doncic they would beat him every time. Doncic was taking them off the dribble because he was putting them off balance, not because of better footspeed.

This is possible now. I would bet on Giannis using his hands to push his defenders :)

Yeah like France was at full strenght.

Nice fight indeed, many mistakes, many flops as expected, many whines (as usual) but a bunch of great plays and great intensity.
Not that the plan was to double team doncic the whole game. The plan was to slow down others but we messed up on dragic quite bad since even albicy was posted way too easily. Too muich hero ball at the end for us execpt there is nothing close to doncic fur us and we need team work for us to score, something that is hard to teach some of our players unfortunately.

Curious to see how the qualifed teams from this group will perform next games, but they had already a great experience in terms of intensity.

Jokic is slacking. I cant see him on that 41+ point list.

I don't think I can remember a better EuroBasket than this, and I've been watching it since 87.

Well Doncic destroyed Suns same way with no centers vs Ayton and McGee. Powell was best what they got.

No sense to draft any bigs nowadays.

Accidents happen.

They do. A foul doesn't need to be intentional to be a foul. Accidental contact between one's elbow and another's head is still a foul.

Actually the question is who is getting into "pipe" of the other. BTW I even not contest the foul, but the Unsport foul. When the guy just do a normal play, that is not a good call.

Every contact in the head in Nba is flagrant 1.
