I just finished watching the Chicago-Connecticut game. Great job by the Sky grinding out a tough win.

The Sun have been successful in mucking this series up and their defense has been good, but they've just had too many key players not shooting the ball well and too many stretches where the offense goes AWOL. They have a ton of talent on paper but one thing that stands out is their lack of a pass-first point guard who can get the ball in the right spots and improve the shot quality. The Sky have that in Vandersloot and it's been a big difference when the teams gets bogged down and needs a bucket. One more thing... I have no idea why Miller had Jonquel on he bench for so long in the 4th.

Game 4 is Tues, Sky go to the Finals with a win while the Sun now have to win two in a row.

Great back and forth finish to regulation for Las Vegas and Seattle. And then great execution and shot-making in overtime by Las Vegas to pull out the win.
Just because it happened to you, doesn't make it interesting.

Sorry, I'm a little behind but WOW what a game and what a finish to regulation in Seattle!

This has been an amazing series to watch. Both teams are so good and the level of competition is off the charts. I think there were 5 lead changes in the last 30 seconds of the 4th. Clutch bucket after clutch bucket.

Edit: Vegas pulls away in OT to get the win. Now one win from the Finals. Chelsea and A'ja are animals lol.

Just destroyed them on the boards today. A'ja is sometimes too physically dominant to deal with in the mid-post area.

I don’t think it’s trash. It’s just sloppy, and I imagine watching the NBA way back when would have been like that. But even in their all star game, there were parts that look like when you go to a court and just screw around and heave up shots you know have no chance to go in.

And not to throw it out there. But Sam Thomas. 5 minutes per game, averages of less then 1 and she makes all rookie.

I try watching the regular season and playoffs off and on, I just can’t get into it

ftr, I think you have fair criticisms here, and yes the NBA used to be sloppier - TO%-wise, the WNBA is about where the NBA was in the early '80s.

The refs gave Las Vegas way too much time at the end of regulation after Bird's corner 3. I thought this was the case when I saw it live, but they didn't show a replay on the telecast after clock was reset to check. The clock stopped at 0.2 and the refs put it back up to 1.8, which allowed enough time for Jackie Young to make the tying bucket. But looking at the video above, the ball is just out of the net on Bird's shot at 0.8, not 1.8.

Of course, if Tina Charles had made her free throws with 7 seconds left, it might not have even been an issue in regulation, and there were still five minutes of overtime to play, which Las Vegas dominated.

It was a very exciting game, and I'm a fan of both teams, but that call did bother me.

I thought the exact same thing about the clock and it turns out they just had it wrong on the TV broadcast overlay. If you look at the game clock on the hoop when the aces are inbounding it's either .8 or .9 so it was correct. Thanks for mentioning the missed FTs tho. I didn't see the game live so wasn't sure if it was that or a TO. Really was the storm's game to lose before going into OT.

Good catch. The clock above the backboard definitely shows 0.8, not 1.8 like the TV score box. So the refs did have it correct.

I wasn't expecting a Connecticut blowout tonight but I'll take it. Nice to see them finally have a game where their shots fall and they're feeling themselves on offense. Great win to set up a deciding Game 5.

Breanna Stewart is absurd lol... 26 of the storm's 47 at the half, 5-5 from 3.

Wow, 2 MVPs in 3 years and she's only been in the league 5. Her and Stewart may end up as the new Wilt/Russell or Magic/Bird of the WNBA.

No idea how the Sun is still in this game when it seems like they turn the ball over every play.
