A little olive branch like this from KD goes a long way with me.

+1 on "Let's get it Pooch!"

Yeah I was thinking the same, the reaction on twitter is enormously positive about this because the fanbase has been pulling for Pooch to get a good full time gig for years now.

So, it's a start at mending relations because what he did and the timing of it was blatant sabotage and I hold that against him...if he wanted out he should have asked for it before the draft and free agency. I need to hear him explain himself on media day and show some leadership on the court before things are all good again, personally.

If you're into 2K, KD is pissed that he's not rated a 99.

I agree with Shannon here. Guys who get swept in the first round aren't worthy of a 99, or should be considered to be better than Giannis for that matter. Frankly, the question of KD being better than Steph is debatable.

KD's got a lot of work to do this season. He lost a lot of respect for what transpired over the last 5 months.

There’s no way on planet earth Giannis deserves to be a 99 while Devin Booker is the cover athlete. Nobody has ever been a 99 since 2010 LeBron. The Bucks didn’t win **** either to deserve this jump. If he wasn’t a 99 during his year the Bucks won a title. Don’t do it later.

KD is a 98 at best regardless. 2K ratings are measure of skills on the court and it’s laughable for 2K sports to rate Giannis higher based on hype. LeBron isn’t near 98 or 96 right now based on that logic.

KD explaining himself

I'm expecting a grouchy presser where he reminds us why we hate him now and acts like the media made everything up that happened this summer

Honestly bro i never agree with giving anyone a 99 in 2K or Madden because the rating implies that the player is flawless.

If the ratings were scaled for accuracy, most of the top guys would level off at 94 or 95 when you factor in their flaws.

I saw some folks on Nets twitter mad that Patty is a 72, but I'm like that sounds about right.

Right. The illusion that this guy gives a damn about the fans is over. I don't know how so many fans are just ready to act like nothing happened, but then again, we've seen this play out in the past where winning heals all wounds, like with Kobe.

However, Kobe was a dog. I have serious doubts about KD, Kyrie and Ben.

Skip was going to lose it for a sec and than went at Shay Shay with LBJ to keep it respectable

No doubt Greek monster runs this league right now. Have no doubt with healthy Khris they beat Saltics. However, Greek better watch out for that Luka kid. Luka is a problem.

Joker, Luka and Giannis all going to have very short off-season, they also playing very heavy min for their national teams. Thinking fatigue might be factor late in a season and playoffs.

This year going to show us if Marks and Tsai gamble to keep both KD and Kyrie was a right decision. I'm just like you very skeptical and don't trust them mental midgets. I would've pulled a trigger on JB and whatever trade during August. Than again, if these clowns ( Steve Trash, Flat Earth and Snake ) will pull a rabbit out of their ass... this team is very capable of winning it all on pure talent alone.

Sadly my mind tells me GSW, LAC, Saltics and Philthy more legit than our dumb ass team.

It's really hard to be optimistic after everything that has happened. Which is a shame, because on paper this club looks deadly offensively with some guys that get it in on the defensive end.

I dunno anymore man. I honestly feel betrayed by this entire franchise. Marks/Tsai hiring Nash, Kyrie being erratic, KD just going off the rails...where does it end?

I understand the frustration, but where was the attention when Giannis undercut Kyrie costing the Nets arguably their best shot at a title two seasons ago? The media never covered that; why all of a sudden do they want to tarnish Kyrie and KD? I think it's a two way street and should have covered the Giannis undercutting Kyrie and came after Giannis for that. Gotta be fair, I'm not about to please anyone, just going to say the truth like it is.

You and I know this; I was rhetorically asking because we all know he is a media darling. That play legit had me asking if it’s in the leagues interest to have the Nets be champs.

Where is the lie here? Right now most of the team is in NY working out. KD and Kyrie are nowhere to be found.

No leadership.

What does Giannis undercutting Kyrie have to do with KD being an immature jackass, and Kyrie being an untrustworthy space cadet?

Giannis isn't the reason why our free agency got sabotaged. He isn't the reason why no one is picking the Nets to win anything because our 3 best players are all headcases

We are in bad shape imo.

Did the media cover his bull of injuring Kyrie? Giannis gets away with a lot of **** while Kyrie/KD get **** on daily. He should get the same treatment and the Nets fan base will never forgive that mofo for costing us our 2021 title. Yes OUR TITLE.

KD shouldn't be a 99 after his playoff failure.

But I agree Giannis being a 97 is a joke.

Guys is becoming crazy overrated.

One good playoff run where he barely beat a completely injured Nets team, injured Hawks team and a Suns team that wasn't even good.

Last year he didn't play much better than KD did vs the Celtics.
