Croatia succeeded to avoid Serbia in the quarterfinals, in so many ways Bogdanovic possibly couldn't possibly have imagined, when he in on purpose missed that FT :p

A nightmare for us, since Italia is really strong at pg and forward positions. With wings that are taller (and better wingspan) and unlike Gallo, they can defend pretty well. A lot will depend on foul trouble and our perimeter defense. If we over help, we are screwed.

It is far better to lose against Finland then to Serbia, whatever the constellation of power currently is. Due to special circumstances, but that aside, Croatian archaic brand of basketball couldn' t take them any further.
