umps zone's the shape of a **** trapezoid. call the outside pitches fine, but to call that inside one on bo is hilariously poor form.

Bautista outplays his contract by more than $70 million over the next four seasons (2013-2016).

Just leave kikuchi in there for 60 pitches. Don't even bother wasting any more of the pen on this one

That was actually almost fair compared to some of the inside calls he's given Perez on RHBs today. It's a horrible zone.
In any case, looks like it's not going to matter as Kikuchi has begun pitching.

I agree. Leave Kikuchi in there as long as possible. Save the bullpen for the days ahead.

At this point we deserve what we get for continuing to throw Kikuchi out there

Not like there's any real choice given this org's high minors pitching depth.

Can we please just have the damn StatCast run the plate? This is ridiculous.

I for the life of me can not remember a significant come from behind 8th inning or later victory by the Jays this season.. these must be a few and yet, it seems as though their record when trailing after 7 is quite poor.

I feel like there was one recently. Can't remember the team but it was extra innings I think. Sometime in August for sure

Well our bullpen is gonna be ruined for the Tampa series.

Show me when earlier? I never complained about Bass. White and Pop. Yes.
Bass and Pop were in the same freaking trade.

In his age 24 year, Jeter put up a bWAR of 7.5.
Bichette currently sits at 2.6, and that after an otherworldly two weeks late in the year.
fWAR is much closer. Bo 3.8, Jeter 6.2. While in their age 23 season, Bo put up a 5.1 fWAR to Jeter’s 4.0.
Also, the hot streak is a part of his season. Not sure why you’re acting like that’s a negative. “Omg, he needed to have a hot streak.” That’s what baseball is. Players go hot and cold. Their numbers at the end of the day are what they’re judged on.

It's a big deal because he's supposed to be one of our better players. Sure, good players also have slumps, but are much more consistent overall - that's one reason they're good players. Bichette was an easy out for much of the season. We don't want him to be Randal Grichuk 2.0.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

What's your **** problem dude? There was no mention of Bass in my earlier comment. I was specifically referring to White, Pop and Kikuchi. Learn to read you moron.

This loss is on the offence. The bullpen kept them in it.
