I don't think Dosey saw the floor since mid 3rd Q, injury? Coach decision?

Yeah, it was all agreed on before hand. Somebody is going to fall out of the window of the 6th floor because of that one 94-88 disrupting it all....

So why do Greece take Giannis brothers to the Eurobasket? Only for cheerleading?

Coach decision, probably. I think Itoudis decided to go with 4 "small" and Giannis, and play with the best exteriors defenders of the roster. Good move by the coach.

Germany will be more difficult for Greece, and I am not sure Greece is the favourite in that game, honestly, I think it's 50-50.

All of the Quarter-Final games should be fun watches - I'm especially looking forward to Greece vs Germany. Slovenia should beat Poland if Luka does his usual song and dance.

Who is the favourite of the remaining 8? Greece is the betting favourite over on Bet365 with Slovenia being the right behind them and then France at 7 to 1. I feel like France is a good bet atm.

Greece players were bricking a lot of wide open threes, which were generated by packing the paint because of Giannis. If they hit those I don't know how they loose a game in this tournament. Germany is good but how will they guard Giannis?

Probably by flopping when he gets into the paint, and by elbowing the hell out of him under the basket. The Daniel Theis special :D

Oddschecker has currently the order of favourites as follows:
Greece
Slovenia
France
Spain
Germany
Italy
Finland
Poland

Slightly OT: Oddschecker lists currently the most favourite bet during the past 24 hours that Lauri Markkanen will be the NBA MIP of 2022-2023 (at payback 30:1), the bets for that has skyrocketed 1400% during the past 3 hours.

Another former great basketball nation has been relegated to being mentioned with the likes of Belgium. I think their future is still bright though cause Bogdanovic didn't play and they still have Nikola Jovic who will pan out to be at least a good contributor for the team I guess.

Thanasis was used earlier in the tournament before Papagiannis returned from injury. He was used as a back-up big, someone to matchup against the likes of Zubac. But ever since Papagiannis returned from injury, he took over that role so Thanasis doesn't play as much.

As for Kostas, he featured heavily for us in August and started a number of games but he went down with an injury a couple of days before the EuroBasket started so he's still not 100% healthy.

Facts but people also forget that Lauri was already winning games for Finland in 2017 as a 20 year old. Wasn't quite as dominant as he is now, but he has always be a spectacular FIBA player.

In those days 27 points was already a lot. Prior to this current Eurobasket no one really racked up many 30 point games apart from Dirk Nowitzki.

honestly?

1) we dont have anyone that we can put up against giannis on defense. interior d is one of our biggest weaknesses. Not Sure if "build a **** wall" still works.
2) Franz Wagner is likely out as He seem to have sprained his ankle severely against Montenegro. at least He looked really in pain as He was sitting in the bench afterwards and german Media reports that still There is no news on his Status which i think is rather Bad than Good.
