DJT continues to be the undisputed (well probably not undisputed, his minions are what they are)
King of Projection. If he accuses someone of something (lock her up) it's pretty likely he's doing
the thing he is accusing others of doing.
A lot of what we call 'thought' is just mental activity

This is the whole right wing playbook. If you look on right wing Twitter all they do is accuse Biden of weaponizing the DOJ. Then when this revelation comes out that Barr and Trump actually tried to go after political opponents they pretend it doesn’t exist.

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

Fla. governor DeSantis sent chartered planes to Texas to fly migrants to Martha's Vineyard (MA) unannounced. What a cruel, inhumane, racist political stunt. It's treating men, women and children like chattel and that's just WRONG.

Whatever, if Republican jerks want to gift us Dem voters for $12 mil per planeload that's their choice

Right, having more Dem voters in places like NY, Mass., and DC is really going to make a difference.

And, yeah, let’s just ignore the humanitarian and family separation implications while we take advantage of the Republican “gifts.”

Been there, done that…and my people have the scars to prove it.

It's become increasingly difficult to distinguish between folks that are legit mentally ill
and probably 20-30% of the GOP. It's sad/scary that one of our main two pol parties
has reached a low of this nature.

Unlike MAGA/far right wing thinking, mental illness generally has some potential for treatment.

Also incredibly poor judgement. DeathSantis may very consider himself above the law, so potential criminal liability may not factor much in his thinking/actions. However there are two other results that aren't benefitting DeSantis and his ilk. First off the response in MA is generally going to be much popular than the kidnapping. The other impact is he actually hands the immigrants a gift in terms of being potential crime victims in MA, which makes deportation next to impossible.

Although he may not even care about the second impact, since it has been years since the GOP has been at all serious about immigration policy. If they really wanted to reduce immigration especially undocumented immigration, they would have had even minimal interest in enforcement against the companies doing the hiring.

GOP was always the law and order party but they always had the ability to break the law and rationalize it away. They are still plenty law and order where liberals/non-whites are concerned, always combing for laws being violated by their enemies while dismissing the laws they break as liberal misinterpretation of deep state government overreach. No respect for the law, following Trump’s lead.

I know what you’re trying to say but Desantis is the Republican Party and what they’ve evolved into. No solutions just performative and super racist dickery. Everybody needs to hang this around their necks as this is the complete opposite of their Christian and pro immigrant values they supposedly have. Not one Republican Governor spoke out against Desantis. It’s telling that even the Republican Governor of Massachusetts didn’t condemn Desatan. If you support Republicans this is what you are, no matter how much some posters want to pretend that almost every Republican politicians isn’t like the morally bankrupt Desantis.
